A Kitchen of Her Own AKOHO

This place serves delicious food! Bought a slice of quiche and hubby got the Cuban sandwich. We also indulged in a piece of blueberry goodness. Loved it so much, came back less than a week later to try the bowls, and of course get more quiche and dessert 😋🤩. Thank you!

My wife is a serious cook and pie maker and she gave the quiche and soups an A+. Quiche portions are huge, can feed two. Desserts, bowls(after 12 noon only!), chocolate croissants, cookies too. Eating outside or takeout. Parking lot is one way.

We were looking for a place to grab some breakfast on our way home and found this place. The quiche (spinach, feta and tomato) was amazing. The crust was so light and flaky. The pastries were delicious and we got a couple more to go.

We love to support locally owned businesses - especially when they use locally sourced ingredients and support a worthwhile cause.

We’re definitely going to go back the next time we’re in town.

This is an absolutely charming, amazing, fabulous place. We picked up whole quiche that is not only the largest quiche I had ever seen but hands down the most outrageously delicious quiche we had ever had.
It would be great for any brunch event too.

We got the spinach, feta and sausage.

Everything we had was delicious!! Mixed berry crumb cake, spinach and ricotta danishes, coffees…so yummy! I went back inside and took 3 slices of quiche home for dinner.

I got a slice of their spinach feta sausage quiche and also one slice of the apple tart. They're both huge! Three of us nibbled on them. So good, the crust is delicious on both of them. I love the savory flavor with the feta cheese and the little tomatoes on the quiche. I consider this an exceptional find here in Vero Beach area visiting my brother-in-law. It's probably good that I don't live nearby!

Outstanding Cafe, Outstanding Service, Outstanding Food, Outstanding Management, What else can I say? Folks, The Kitchen is by far one of the best Cafes in Vero Beach with a diverse menu of almost everything you could want ranging from delicious apple cobbler to chocolate brownies. The Kitchen also serves lunch specials. Everything is delicious & homemade. The owner & her sister are great people. (Sorry I went down the wrong way 🙃) If you're in the area, I'd strongly recommend stopping by, you will be satisfied! I hope this review helped. Thank you!

AKOHO doesn't get the exposure that it should. The quiche is nothing short of a masterpiece. They're over an inch tall and look gorgeous. The apple tart was absolutely delicious and would be perfect for a holiday dessert. The apple stuffed pastry sent my husband to heaven. The chocolate tart/truffle was melt-in-your-mouth. The made-to-order coffee was perfect. I wish that we lived closer because we'd visit AKOHO often. Highly recommended!!!

Superb bakery. I’ve been coming to AKOHO for years now whenever I’m in town to visit family. Sebastian doesn’t have a lot of food options but AKOHO is a hidden gem. Her pastries and cakes have so much flavor and aren’t too sweet. And people aren’t exaggerating about her quiche. It’s the best quiche I’ve ever had.

Was just passing through and wanted a coffee and to my pleasant surprise the most outrageous unusual and delicious quiche I’ve ever had. Great little place, great business concept. Love supporting small business, it’s our backbone to our country You will not be disappointed!

So happy to finally find a vegan/vegetarian friendly place in Sebastian. I tried the spinach, feta, and tomato quiche as well as the mozzarella, tomato, and basil panini. The quiche was fantastic! A perfect blend of ingredients and such a nice, soft, and fluffy consistency. Highly recommend! The panini was fresh with simple, high quality ingredients. The coffee was also in good taste. The atmosphere is cute, there's great service, and also very reasonable prices! The owner also takes custom orders and the menu changes daily. Definitely will be going back for more!

Omg. This place is amazing. The quiches! The croissants! The cookies! The soups! The bowls! It is all so good. Sherri does an amazing job with everything here. I’ve never been disappointed and keep coming back for more!

Do yourself a favor and make sure you visit AKOHO! Everything we tried here was fabulous. We had a Cuban Panini and Quiché for lunch, enjoyed on the small outside patio. We took away 2 different tartes and coconut cake. We enjoyed these several night for desert. All were fantastic! We also brought home 6 different kinds of frozen soup. All have been delicious. Highly recommend!

Let me tell y’all ….. this quiche caused me to ascend into another plane of human existence. Heavenly? Euphoric? Exquisite? All words that cannot even come close to describing my experience here.

With the ever-evolving menu, I don’t think I’ll ever run out of new items to try at AKOHO. Even their locally-made rootbeer was fantastic! Their pastries are simply to die for and I can guarantee they will be seeing me walk through their door again and again.

The icing on the cake (literally and figuratively haha) is the staff. The owner specifically is just an absolute joy to chat with and makes connections with all her customers. 10/10 experience, you simply MUST check this place out.

I am so glad that I finally was able to try the food here. The quiche is most likely the best I have had...spinach, feta & cherry tomatos!!! Delicious! I had to stop by again today & got the peach crumble (that is gone already!) and the soup (vegan chili), which I tried and is absolutely delicious, too!!
I live in Ft Myers but promise that we will stop by every year when we come to our timeshare on vacation. But I will continue to stalk you on FB until then🤣🙏💖

From the moment we walked in, Shari greeted us with a smile & explained the menu. She walked us over to the display case of amazing Quiche and baked goods.

So many unique chocolates, sweets, & goodies as well below the display case. There is also a cooler with fresh pressed juices & drinks.

Very clean and tidy restaurant!

Delicious food and friendly staff. The prices were a little high, but you get what you pay for. The sitting area is off to the side of the building and it’s pretty new, no inside seating.

Came here for the first time this morning. My wife and I loved the mixed veggie quiche with sausage and the croissants were delicious! We’ll be back
