The Valley Pantry & Deli

My family stopped here while on a cross-state road trip while visiting from England. The sandwiches were great, with fresh ingredients, and the store was stocked well with a great range. We enjoyed having our lunch in the outdoor covered seating. But most importantly of all, the staff here were amazing! As well as being lovely people, they were very generous in letting us taste some unusual flavours of sweets/candies before purchase. My four year old loved it!

Love, love, love this place! The staff is helpful, attentive, and always smiling. They have so much to offer and it's always fun to browse the shelves. Their sandwiches though.....I eat there more than I should but their sandwiches are delicious! They don't skimp of flavor or the amount of ingredients they add. I haven't had one yet that I don't like.

A great line of fall holiday candies and spices are in. A wonderful place to visit for delicious delicious meats, assortment of candies, baking needs, snacks and much more.

I like this joint. The Joe Tea is good, the sandwiches are better, and the owner (Mervin) is like a sunbeam on steroids. Stop in and have your day made!

Fantastic market. We came by after a hike and were very hungry; this place hit the spot. There’s a welcoming porch with fresh flowers and the workers here are very polite and kind. They make delicious subs to order and have a great selection of meats/cheeses. We also got their pimento cheese, pasta salad, wasabi beans, and mini buckeye balls. Their buckeye balls are incredible - they have a great selection of chocolates including homemade fudge.

The sandwiches here are great! If you're wanting a sweet treat, get the mini milk chocolate peanut butter buckeyes. So good!

We stopped by the Deli to crab some sandwiches on the way to Shenandoah NP. Polite staff and delicious sandwiches , the turkey pesto Panini was my favorite .
Do give this a visit if you are in the area.

My family stopped here for lunch driving through. The food was absolutely delicious and very affordable. This will be our new place to stop when traveling through Virginia!

It is a five star for sandwiches 🥪. We got two turkey buggy sandwich and we loved it 😍. We are going again today to grab them :) lovely shop amd lovely people

The panini sandwiches are awesome and they have a wide selection of teas to choose from. Lots of homemade Mennonite goods.

Great local sandwich shop with healthy groceries, snacks and candies. Love supporting these local family owned places.

We visited for the first time today and EVERYONE was so very nice. We loved everything. There's so much and an amazing place to have sandwiches made. Definitely worth checking out.

Great sandwich! I highly recommend this place.

Great customer service. I went a couple times and one time I was waiting for my food and they accidentally dropped my sandwich on the floor. I waited for another sandwich patiently, never brought up what happened, and when I went to the counter was given a drink and my meal for free. I already liked this place, they pack the sandwiches and their ingredients always taste fresh, and this made it even better because it shows they truly care about their customers.

While traveling through town we popped in for lunch. The sandwiches were scrumptious and the employees were sweet as can be!

Our Air BnB was the Bridgehouse, in Elkton, Va. Valley Pantry was in walking distance, so it was one if our first stops. Lilly introduced us to the Hot Turkey Pesto Sandwich. Boy, was that good!!!
On Saturday, homemade Peach 🍑 ice cream, made on site was the best!

Nice little local sandwich shop. They sell deli meats/cheese and make sandwiches too. Homemade candy and other foods.

Great service, fair price, friendly people. They carry a good selection of meats and food.
