The Edge Christian Camp

This is a great facility either for private bookings or to attend one of the Edge Christian Camp’s hosted events. We really enjoy the yearly family day at the camp as well as the couples conferences. Other events we’ve attended are men’s retreat, private ladies retreat in the manor house, and our kids have attended summer camp, youth rallies, the New Year’s Eve teen all nighter, and more. There are many activities available such as indoor and outdoor sports, water activity on the James River or at the pool, archery, shooting, laser tag, and ax throwing to name a few. No trip to the Edge is completely with a visit to the creamery! The staff here have a true love for people and really care about each person that comes through. Sharing the love of Christ is a priority. They have a big vision to see the continued growth of the camp. The Lord is truly blessing here. I would recommend!

My children and I attended this awesome camp during the summer 2023. The staff was warm and friendly and the activities were fun, my children enjoyed all the activities. What a blessing it was, my two sons one 15 yo and the other 12 yo gave their lives to the Lord Jesus after hearing the gospel message. My daughter was also with me as I served as a sponsor at the Camp. The messages were timely and was the undiluted word of God. My the Lord continue to bless this ministry and its expansion plan to reach more souls for the kingdom of God-Jesus- I highly recommend this ministry. Very wonderful place to go to draw closer to God! I’ve been coming here for many years- back when it was Eastover Retreat Center- but the new ownership is wonderful! They have done a great job with the place so far- and I know the Lord is blessing them with their ownership of the camp! It is definitely a must have spiritual retreat!!

They even let us tour the Manor House when we went! It was awesome!😃

Top notch camp for children or for the adult retreats as well. The staff is excellent and very accommodating. This is a fantastic ministry run by the founder who has a real heart for people and a strong vision for growth.

Just went to family day at The Edge Christian Camp Inc. Wow!! The new owners have done so much work preparing for the new Camping season. Several of the area churches came for Family day. What a blessing! There is canoeing on the James River, body boarding, archery and hiking. They have an amazing vision for the future. The Manor house was so beautiful. It was like stepping back in time. All the of furniture beautifully preserved. Gorgeous views and a wonderful place to get away. Want to invest in a up and coming ministry invest in the Edge Camp.

Staff is fantastic. There's plenty of room for what we needed. Lydia is so talented, and location is beautiful.

Needed a place to shower. Called to ask, the person who I spoke to was taken aback. She never had such a request, but she told me "sure, c'mon over. No charge." I was exceedingly impressed.

My church came here for a lady's retreat. Things are fine despite the weather.

It was so exciting to be at the Edge Christian Camp for the Harvest Rally! God blessed in a tremendous way! So glad to see others faithfully and cheerfully serving the Lord!

Wonderful Christian Camp! Absolutely beautiful and lots of fun. Would recommend this camp to anyone considering attending a future retreat or summer camp.

This is a fun camp the staff is nice the owner is nice too also the lady that answers the phone is really nice 10 out of 10

This camp is a very good place to learn about God and for a week of fun and friends.
