Log Cabin Barbecue

Stopped in to grab a quick lunch; was not disappointed. The staff are great, the selections are plentiful… got the BBQ bowl (original) with coleslaw on top; what a great choice. The sweet-smokey tang of the BBQ & beans combined with the chill of the great tasting coleslaw was a perfect combination. This is a wonderful place to treat yourself to if in the area.

Grabbed a quick meal.. Service was fast though it was full.. Ordered mac n cheese bowl with NC pork on top😋😋😋 staff was great and helpful.

The best BBQ I have ever had. Polite staff. Simple menu options. The baked beans, coleslaw, and seasoned fries were all complimentary to the sandwich, but the standout side is definitely the hushpuppies. They were almost as good as the BBQ. Very good food. Nothing flashy. Excellent prices.

I am so happy that this restaurant opened back up in their old location! Visited the area last weekend and was able to stop in for some lunch and the food was just as delicious as I remembered! The staff are so welcoming and the decor is so cute and cozy. If you haven’t gone to this place since they reopened last month, you have to go!

We loved our visit to Log Cabin. We have been twice over the last couple weeks and will be back often. Loved the simple menu, reasonable prices, and excellent service. My favorite items were the Hushpuppies with butter, and I loved the BBQ bowl with chicken bbq the last time (I don’t eat bread) .. and it was surprisingly delicious w/ good portions. Oh and the ice cream! So good .. I think mine was called mountain berry. Our waiter was a tall young man who made us feel very welcome and provided fast and excellent service!
We will be back. Glad this place is back to being ‘Log Cabin.’ It’s a lovely atmosphere inside. Also love the to go options .. great for busy family nights when cooking is too much!

I went twice on my trip and loved this place. Not only does it have a ton of character (old cabin that has the old walls exposed to show how they've grown over the years) but they have excellent food. I got the platter that features 2 sides, ribs and BBQ in a choice of BBQ style sauces. The staff is super friendly and I became even more impressed when I saw a menu all about food allergies. The menu listed all major food allergies with a list of items from the menu NOT to order from. This was the first time I've seen this and was very impressed. My family and I will be eager to go back next time we're in the area.

Got the rib meal special for 2. Absolutely wonderful. Melted in mouth good. Dry rub was great but their sauce just added to the messy masterpiece. If you are any where near...try them!

Great food and great service. I had the North Carolina pork dinner and wish I had asked for extra dinner rolls. More meat than I could fit on one.

Great bbq, smoked sausage, ribs and pulled pork, vinegar and sweet bbq sauce, service was excellent very comfortable place! I really enjoyed the ribs and pulled pork, the coleslaw was amazing!

The food here is wonderful, and the atmosphere is soothing. The staff is super friendly, patient, and kind. Make sure to try the barbecue nachos--they are A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!! I ate too many by the time I remembered to take a pic--oops--but they are SO good!! Don't let the plastic dinnerware fool ya, the food is SO worth the trip!!

Stopped in this local, quaint roadside BBQ joint for dinner the other night. Didn't know what to expect, but dang it was good! Hubby got the ribs and I got a salad with pulled pork. 😳🙆🏻‍♀Amazing! Took a tiny bit if leftovers home. Had to come back tonight and will probably go back before we leave the area! Prices are very reasonable. It's a no fuss no muss type place. Nothing fancy, just damn good food and really nice staff too! All socially distanced and hey have outdoor seating too. Thanks for a great meal!

Original bbq sandwich....for me to say it was delicious says a lot because I don't eat pork & chances are I'll be going back 😊

Amazing meal! Ribs NC bbq and the rotisserie were amazing! The mac n cheese is to die for but the green beans were so tiny they were hard to eat. Had a wonderful waitress and was very sweet to our girls. We love this place!

Honestly, Was heading to hanks but they were doing pick-up only this day...Their loss cause we hit the Log cabin Barbecue directly across from the Resort Drive entrance for Massanutten.. Not much for atmosphere as its just a rundown log cabin, but it keeps the prices down for sure... Great value and amount for food for the buck. The BBQ was off the hook.. Ribs super tender, BBQ 3 different ways Tangy, Savory, Spicy.... We tried them all and no complaints at all.... Staff was friendly and attentive, Will definitely be returning every time we stay at Massanutten, Sorry Hanks, you just lost a customer

Wound up here after trying to find something good to eat while visiting the Massanutten Resort. I cannot say enough great things about this establishment. The food was amazing, the service was great, I will be coming back again and again. Thank you to the staff for being so great!

Quaint, delicious & cheap. We had hush puppies & mini corn dogs to start, 3 of us got sandwiches and sides and my little one got chicken tenders w/fries & ice cream. Service was friendly, restaurant was clean and everything was socially distanced!
