Hank's Grille & Catering

This was my family's first time visiting Hank's. Their location is perfect for Massanutten Resort guests.

Hank's staff was very welcoming. Our waitress shared how our food was prepped in-house and explained the flavorful taste we would expect if we selected Dry Rub over Naked ribs.

We could instantly distinguish the freshness of our salads. Farm to table.

Hank's is a hidden gem. The appeal from outside may not catch your eye, but once you enter inside, you'll notice that they didn't spare no expense for interior design. (including the clean bathrooms)

Our food was delicious, our cost for 3 was $50, (not including tip) and we certainly plan on visiting again.

My family stopped here for lunch midweek. We were seated right away. My kids loved the selections on the kids menu. Our server was great, very attentive. Everyone enjoyed their food. The ribs were tender and the cornbread was fantastic. We would definitely go here again for lunch or dinner

This place was AWESOME! From the front door the seat, I felt at home. Hannah, our waitress was very knowledgeable about the items on the menu, she was courteous and very kind. I will definitely be back. We oder a lil bit of everything & it was awesome. Totally should have taken pics before we devoured the meal. The Ahi tuna bowl is a keeper I will definitely be back for that meal. "I'm hooked on Hank's" now! Thanks for an awesome experience & & an even greater meal.

My family and I were vacationing nearby and decided to order takeout from Hank's based on the Google reviews, and we were not disappointed in the least. The meat was full of flavor, tender, and filling! My son ordered a burrito and was so impressed with the taste and amount of food. We were all a little skeptical about cheese in our corn bread, but that was quickly changed after the first bite! If you are ever in the area, Hank's will be a must stop for delicious food!

Our first time here and the food was excellent. The Nachos Carnitas was delicious. The bbq was very tender and seasoned well. The sweet tea was extra sweet just how like it. And for the dessert we had the chocolate brownie sundae. The atmosphere was very welcoming. This will be our go to places the next we go to Massanutten.

The cheddar cornbread, ribs, and fried catfish are all delicious. The KC Mustard Sauce is a standout among the bbq sauces provided on the table.

I had Hank’s cater my small wedding in Luray, VA after not hearing back from my original caterer- and I’m so happy with that decision! Sabrina was wonderful to work with when making my menu selections and finalizing all the details. She made the process seamless! The staff delivered the food (for only a $75 delivery fee!) during the ceremony and set everything up buffet style. The BBQ and the spinach dip appetizer were the group favorites. The bamboo plates and utensils were also beautiful! I definitely recommend Hank’s for any catering in the area!

We got Hank's Catering for our Wedding dinner and it was delicious!! Sabrina was super friendly and fast in responding to us and worked with us so we could do a pick up on Wednesday morning. We got the pulled chicken and brisket which was amazing!! We also had the vegetarian lasagna, veggies, Mac and cheese, and potatoes which were all delicious! We got so many compliments from our friends and family about how much they loved the food.

The smoked meat combo was delicious! Enjoyed the variety of bbq sauces. Our waitress was friendly and very attentive. Will definitely return!

The food was excellent, the staff were attentive and had great recommendations, and the advisor was very relaxing! All 4 of us loved our cocktails, appetizers, entrees, and desserts! Can't wait to go back!!

Food was fantastic. Great local spot if you’re into Southern BBQ. The staff was patient & helpful. Everything that we ordered tasted fresh. And the price wasn’t too bad either for as much as we ordered. The wait time also wasn’t too long.

We got the Cowboy Burrito with pulled pork. It was delicious! We also got collards, cheese grits, and the cornbread with honey butter sides. All were really good, but I thought the collards were the best. We got cheesecake for dessert which was also good. They say their desserts are homemade. The service was great, too. Our server was attentive and the food was out to us in nothing flat -- I think the fastest I ever remember for a full service restaurant. I wish we had this place around our area! If we come back to Massanutten Resort, we'll definitely go back!

I went to Hank's with my kids and a group of friends to celebrate one of my best friends' birthday. We were a party of 11. We were seated right away. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The food was awesome and well-priced, especially for the quality and portions. Everyone in our party loved what they ordered, and the restaurant had an easy-going vibe that we really appreciated, after a weekend of snowboarding and skiing.

Hank's is a great option, especially if you're heading to Massanutten for any kind of recreation. We will definitely be back!

I went soup and salad today versus the usual smoked pork. Great choice. I could have eaten many more bowls of the Brunswick stew. It was great. The Caesar salad was very good, too. Nice and flavorful dressing.

Great place for food and drinks. They have some local and statewide breweries on tap. Ample food for the price. The Brunswick stew was delicious, and the service was top notch. I will definitely be going back. I recommend the pitmaster seasonal sauce, it was a Carolina gold.

Monday we ordered, shrimp and grits, stew, steak and cornbread with green beans and the catfish with greens and baked beans! OMG - the food is amazing! Went back Wednesday and OMG again, shrimp and grits and nacho carnitas! The drinks were really good but what really was amazing was the service from Jill and I believe the second waitress was Megan! I would take the 5 hour drive just to eat here!

We stopped in for dinner while staying at Massanutten Resort. Our server Hannah was quick and super attentive. The food service was really fast with our food, and drink refills. The quality of the food was amazing. We started with chicharrones and Buffalo cheese fries. Our dinner was the turkey avocado sandwich, BBQ sandwich, Texas grilled cheese with brisket, and a smoked sampler with greens. It was all really really good. If your in the area, we highly recommend eating here. Way better than the resort grub we had during our stay.

We stayed at Massanutten for a couple days and had dinner on a Saturday night at Hank's. It was our best meal of the trip, and it wasn't even close! Friendly folks greeted us at the door, and despite it being 7 p.m. on a Saturday night, we were seated within 10 minutes.

That's all pretty good, but let me tell you. The cheese grits were the best grits I've ever had in my life, and before you wonder "who in the world has mentally ranked all the plates of grits they've ever eaten," let me just tell you - get the cheese grits and thank this random internet reviewer later. I told the waitress that they were the best I'd ever had, and she gave me a look like "everyone says that," which should tell you something.

Get the cheese grits. I'm not kidding. Get the cheese grits.

Absolutely the best service! The hostesses the bar tenders the waitresses even the bussers were Absolutely amazing fun not uptight like some places. Then the food oh my gosh we started with the nachos tons of very tender meat in them. Then the hank's sampler came out the ribs with the dry rub was heavenly the brisket was so tender and delicious beyond words and the pork was killer hank's baked beans are the best I have ever had we also had the Mac and cheese and an order of fries Absolutely no complaints about anything that was served to us! Love Hank's I will be making that 2 hour trip again just for the BBQ. The friendly staff and atmosphere is another great reason to go back!

Group of 6 for an early dinner, everything went super smooth. Service was excellent by Christian. The food was delicious and everything was perfect.
