Village Market & Deli

Very standard and serviceable market for a small resort. Decent variety of beverages (wine, beer, water, soda), snacks, and foods, including some frozen foods, packaged breads, bacon, etc.

Regarding complaints in other reviews, I saw some milk (not a lot) and other basic items. But this is a small resort. Think of this as a convenience store, not a grocery store.

This place should change it's name. Calling themselves a "market and deli" is a joke. The deli is non-existent, the market is very limited unless you want beer or wine - lots of that available. Where are the staples? Eggs? Milk? Bread? Bacon? Nope, nope, nope, nope.

It's been this way for years. I keep thinking that the next time I come back to Tamarack they will have gotten it together. Nope.

I remember fondly the great market they had years ago in the yurt where the pickleball courts are now. Now, that was a market. This is just a room full of nope.

This place needs a massive upgrade. They have a huge market of customers and could really use healthier options. Seems like a glorified convenient store. Could use more meat options , healthier premade food (salads, gf wraps, tuna cups), basic items like rice, granola, more fresh fruit. So much junk food! Get with the times!

Sandwiches for sale are clearly frozen from last week, as they are still frozen. And any "veggies" on them are brown, wilted, and shriveled. I'd add photos if I could. Not edible. Do better.

No eggs, no sandwiches although there is a menu. No explanation for this. Where are all the bread, milk, eggs and other staples. Very disappointed and will just drive to McCall.

Never stays open until closing time. Three nights this week we found it closed more than 25 minutes before the actual closing time. In one instance, the employee was standing inside putting on a coat, looked at us and just carried on as though they were supposed to be closed. Decent selection of items... When it's open.

This store is shameful for being at Tamarack. Their GF and other specialty diet food offerings are non existent!
