MCPAWS Veterinary Hospital

This veterinary hospital is associated with the McPaws Regional Animal Shelter. They are such beautiful caring people. I brought in a stray, sick kitten, and they gladly took him in to treat and get him adopted. My daughter had taken a stray kitten in the week before with the same loving reception. Actually, the first kitten was adopted after one week!

PLEASE NUETER YOUR ANIMALS! They sponsor a neutering clinic for the area; please be humane. If you need to let go of a pet, at least take it to the Animal Shelter/Humane Society instead of dumping it off to fend for itself!🥰

The McPaws veterinary office in Donnelly went above and beyond to help our Golden who was in serious condition. The staff and Doctor were effective and compassionate to help our emergency case, fitting her into their already full schedule. She is all fixed and and doing well now! Thank you so much!

Dr. Gephart did such a great job with my shy dog! She gave her lots of cookies and helped make her comfortable during her vaccinations. Thank you!

The amazing staff at MCPAWS are always very welcoming and polite. Our family is so greatful that they partner with West Coast Pet Memorial Services to provide cremation options for furfriends. They make the process as easy, and convenient as possible. All while showing the upmost compassion for those grieving. Our family has utilized their cremation services on three occasions. We do not utilize their veterinarian services as they do not have an exotics veterinarian. I can attest to their commitment and passion for animals. Thank you all for everything you do!

I appreciate the courtesy and promptness that my pet/friend and I received. Everyone there is nice, helpful and efficient. My dog needed staples ASAP and he received them. I was able to use my debit card as well. I was charged accordingly and prices are fair. My pet received what he needed not what could be added. Great service!!!

The doc was awesome I know for a fact my dog would have died had Dr. Jaques not been so keen! He is priced to where an average pet owner can afford.

Since Dr. Jacques, our long time Vet, retired, I was anxious about how our experiences would be with the new staff and new vets now that McPaws bought his practice. My experiences have been very positive, all the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and compassionate. I appreciate the care they give our dogs.

We just visited McPaws after our mini golden doodle managed to lodge some cheat grass deep in her ear while camping. It was a FANTASTIC experience. Thank you so SO much to their lovely and kind staff that managed to squeeze us in to an already busy schedule, and made us all feel safe and taken care of. The vet was patient, gentle, and understanding. Truly, an amazing experience. Thank you!

My friend had a dog that got sick while on vacation and the veterinarian was very honest about what needs to be done. Great visit! Wonderful staff!

Absolutely loved it and I couldn't believe how well they were with my dog stormy, went in to get her spayed and couldn't be more happy after the surgery the doctor called me and told me how it went and how she was doing. If you want someone to be overly professional and caring towards your animal this is the place to go. Great just great

Our yellow lab tore a large gash in her side jumping over a downed tree, we took her to McCaws and they treated her as an emergency. She had to sedated and stitched up but fortunately they didn’t have to put in a drain. I found McCaws very caring and responsive and the cost was more than reasonable. Our dog, Gracie, is doing well.

Great people! Got my puppy in and out after running through a barbed wire fence with no problems. 👍

Had the misfortune of having to euthanize our sweet 13 year old mini schnauzer while on vacation in McCall and ended up at this clinic. The staff and doctor who attended to us were caring and compassionate as if we were long time customers and treated us and our little dog with utmost dignity through that difficult event. I can’t thank them enough.

This place and these people are amazing. I have been using them for more than a decade now. I currently live in Boise and travel specifically to Donnelly to have all four of my dogs seen by Ted and his staff. The prices are very reasonable and it seems as though they actually love all of my knuckleheads- even the annoying one. I often call to get medication refills and to find out whether or not they actually need to be seen in office and they have consistently steered me in the right direction. I consider myself a needy client and they ALWAYS handle me and my beasts in a great way. This place is awesome! If you love your pet, expect the best level of care possible, and need veterinary services, this is the place for you.

Exceptionally clean clinic. Dr. Jacques is a definite animal lover and knows his business.
We’ve had all 3 of our dogs there now and everyone has been polite and helpful. Never had any trouble getting an appointment.
