Valet Vacation Rentals

We have used Valet Vacation Rentals to manage our two rental homes in Tamarack Resort for over 7 years. They have been fantastic in every regard. I would highly recommend them as your property management company. They are trustworthy, professional, organized, yet friendly and kept the bookings coming!!! Definitely a property management company you can depend on.

Extremely satisfied with this company!! We stayed in McCall, in a home close to town which was great for our family. Exceptional service whether you're talking to someone at their corporate office or their local office in Donnelly. Issues of our own fault occurred and their staff was available immediately to assist us, even though it wasn't during their business hours. Our rental was perfectly clean and stocked with the appropriate amenities. We will continuously recommend Valet Vacation Rentals and the Grand Welcome company to all our friends and family.

We stayed at 252 Discovery Chalet over MLK weekend and had an amazing time! The property was very clean and had everything that we needed. The location was about a half mile away from the Ski area, and about a 20 minute drive from Donnelly. There were plenty of ski paths and walk ways to explore on foot. The hot tub was well maintained and made for the perfect way to relax after the day. Beds were firm but comfortable, the house was very cozy overall. I'd highly recommend this place and plan on visiting again in the future.

My family loves the facilities at Tamarack Resort! The townhome was fantastic and pet friendly. We had dinner and drinks at 7 Devils, the food and service were wonderful. All staff that we ran into was very friendly and helpful. Our family loved riding bikes on the golf paths, we saw wildlife and birds. We can't wait until the snow flies so we can have a winter vacation.

Great company with amazing customer service. We stayed at a vacation rental house in mccall and the home was magnificent. Very clean and close to town. We will be staying with valet vacation rentals next time we go to McCall for sure.

Our booking experience with Betsy has been amazing. There were a couple computer glitches and she was immediately responsive and on top of it in a timely manner.She was very friendly and personable. there was an issue with the first cabin we rented and Betsy was quick to find us another one to stay in as this happened a few weeks prior to our trip which had been booked for months. The upgrade was very nice. The only issue we had was the sheet felt like cardboard and were very poor quality. I sent this information over to Betsy and hopefully they do an upgrade on the linens. It's a beautiful area at tamarack ski resort. The lake was close by. We were there for an archery 3D shoot with full draw film tour and NW mountain challenge and it was absolutely amazing! We loved coming back each evening and sitting in the hot tub to relax before another long day.

Stayed at New Dawn Chalet. This was our 2nd time. However this time we were somewhat disappointed with the cleaniness. We had a larger group this time and THERE ARE NOT TWO KING BEDS. Owner, you need to measure the beds. Another person had mentioned this in their review, and they were CORRECT. We dId MEASURE with a tape and there are two doubles and 1 KING ONLY. Although my hubby and I paid for the stay we had to sleep in the smaller room in back with no view because of the bed sizes. Why dont you move the king bed in the largest front room? there were large stains on the carpets everywhere. Sheets smelled dirty, had to wash them with no laundry soap as the supply was empty. No tissue boxes in any bathroom. Cutting board missing. Side door shelves inside of fridge were all broken off and missing, so it made storage of food difficult. For the price of 275 per night it should be higher quality. The staff at Valet are extremely nice and easy to work with, but maintenance could be better. Still loved it there, If these issues are corrected we would stay again.

We have stayed in chalets, condos, and regular hotel rooms in the lodge over the last 3 years. This stay was by far below previous standards. Not enough towels, 1 wash cloth for 4 adults, used shampoo and soap in the shower when we arrived, no filters for the coffee machine,unable to connect to WiFi, 2 emails worth of rules and warnings about what no to do and when not to call but no instructions about how to check into our room. Several warnings about extra charges for late checkouts, using the wrong towels, etc. There was no warning when we booked that all the amenities like hot tub, work-out room, bar and restaurant were all CLOSED. They are putting out an entirely negative vibe as well as letting down a loyal clientele. They are missing the boat if they think this type of service will bring Tamarack back.

The location of this cabin is amazing! It worked well for all of our outdoor activities and relaxing! The reason I’m giving this property a three star rating is because there are mice in the cabin, it’s not a fully stocked kitchen with cookware and equipment, there wasn’t enough towels for a large group or toilet paper, some of the light bulbs were burnt out, some of the outlets are not working, the front door handle is broken, a window is broken (will not open or close properly), and it’s just unfortunate that many of the windows don’t open at all. For the price we spent per night I expected better. However the property worked well for our large group and we had a fantastic time despite the cabin issues. Hoping these issues will be reconciled.

Rented several cabins in Tamarack, Donnelly Idaho this summer. 102 Golden Bar has very dirty carpets, poorly stocked- not even a dish towel in kitchen, no propane. Premium prices but poorly maintained. Rented large cabin in June that the property management had not even bothered to sweep winter off the deck or clean hit tub - it was gross. Tamarack is a beautiful location, but Grand Welcome is a poor property manager.

Would not recommend Valet Vacation Rentals. The resort is bankrupt and the homes are not maintained well at all. We stayed in Lonetree 12 and the second day we were there we had a major water leak from the master bathroom and then were out of a shower for 2 days with a house full of people. The maintenance crew came and fixed it and left us a filthy mess of sheetrock dust and dirt tracked in and out. We had to clean out the garage before we could put any of our stuff in it. The customer service was horrible. The owners/managers told us they would AT LEAST give us a full day reimbursement for our inconvenience but after 3 weeks my husband called them and they felt that only $100.00 was due back. The owner is deceitful and blatantly lied to us. Please please think twice about using VVR, there are several other rental agencies that serve that area.

We have rented for the past 2 years for a week at a time. The last time there were new managers. They are rude and don't seem to care at all. They don't have enough toilet paper and not enough blankets. There was no fitted sheet for the bed. It took 2 days to get one.For the money they sure don't care about customer service. Great location but no customer service.

We went up for our friend's birthday to celebrate in the beautiful chalet #256. Where do I even start! The hot tub was broken and filled with debris and smelled. They had several light bulbs out, so many that it felt like a crypt. The kitchen counter granite was broken off, cabinets broken, stairs were broken (which cut my son's foot open), shower heads were full of limescale and barely sprayed. Our friend called your office where you promised to have a maintenance person come. That never happened and they never showed. We tried calling again, but you never answered. For a weekend that cost her over 1k, you would think your rental company would do something, especially knowing it was her birthday. Never again will we be back and we'll let others know what a gracious host your company is.

We had a family reunion scheduled in June. We rented through Airbnb a cottage/cabin (managed by Grand Welcome/Valet Vacation) at Tamarack back in February. In early April, we canceled because of lingering fears about Covid as my Mother was going with us (she is 80). Grand Welcome/Valet Vacation took our entire deposit less $76 ($600 deposit) saying that this is past the 60 day cancellation. I can not believe that they would expect to profit during this crisis and it shows the level of ethics this company has. There was still 2.5 months left to rent the place. I would suggest not having any business dealings with these people.
