Holiday Inn Club Vacations David Walley's Resort, an IHG Hotel

Went for a soak in the hot springs while in Tahoe. We had just driven 30+ hours and this was the most relaxing thing we could've possibly done. The views are amazing, hot springs pools are fantastic and well taken care of. To top it off, we had the best customer service from Karen. She is the kindest person!! We really enjoyed talking with her and appreciate her kindness. We had a wonderful experience in a beautiful place!

Enjoyed soaking in the communal geothermal water pools. The restaurant has a nice selection of items, though I was bummed they were out of the peach cobbler (very popular). Rooms are comfortable, and they try to fix any issues as soon as possible when you notify them.

My wife and my friend went on a one-day trip from Sacramento to use the hot spring water. I called and spoke with a very nice lady named Karen. I’ve never encountered such a professional and friendly staff member like Karen. She made our visit a joyful experience. She gave us a gift and provided very clean towels. She instructed us on how to use the pools and the facility and handled our food orders from the restaurant. We were served in the pools with delicious Pitzza. I’d like to ask her manager to raise her salary as she deserves a promotion. Karen was extremely respectful and treated us like VIP guests. We enjoyed their services so much that I plan to go there every week. We’re reserving a hotel room to bring all our families there.

This place was incredible!!! The villa room we stayed in had everything we needed, and the restaurant was delicious. We’ve been to our share of hot springs, and they tend to not be hot enough, but the water at Walley’s was fire! So toasty! PLUS, Steve went above and beyond with his hospitality, his service, and his level of enjoyment of this historic place. You made our vacation extra special Steve! Thank you!

this is a wonderful hotel. The rooms have all the necessary equipment, the location of the hotel is simply gorgeous. the rooms are very clean. We vacationed with three children and it was very comfortable and convenient for us. We will definitely come back here again. The staff is very friendly and polite.

From the skier point of view who use Havenly, this resort is very nice lodging that comes with natural hot spring amenities. It may be a bit far from the restaurants and stuff but as long as you have your food ready on the way to the resort, I think you are fine.

I enjoyed the stay a lot here.

For now, I'm giving 5 stars, but we're staying here on Thursday. I hope the place is all good for vacation vibes. I hope AC temp is controllable. Rooms, bed sheets , and towels are clean. I saw a lot of neg. review, but I wanna see it myself. I really hope it is worth how much I paid.

Room are spacious and the kitchenette is great to use.

I look forward to the hot tub every time I'm here! Steve is always so cheery and is really proactive in checking in on us, giving us towels and adjusting the temp etc.

Steverino who works there is above and beyond the most helpful person I’ve met in a long time. He has always ensured we were enjoying ourselves and when asked for something he went to all lengths to assist. We are grateful for him and the beautiful property. Those two things made this a great weekend trip

Amazing facilities and the room was really nice! The hot springs were definitely a highlight! Steve was exceptionally nice, checking in on us and adjusting the temps whenever needed to ensure we had a great time!

Amazing hot springs, we had an great time here. The service was great especially Steve, he was very kind and provided everything we needed when we were at the pool area! Would come back again.

I stayed at the hot springs resort and it was a very enjoyable experience the hot springs and the beautiful night truly healing!!! Thanks to Steve he made a vacation a 10 star going the extra mile bringing a smile to everyone’s face we appreciate Steve we will be Back:))))

An absolutely beautiful place. The spa feels incredible. And the staff is extremely kind and hospitable, shout out to Steve for making our night. Definitely recommend to spend even just one night.

I had an excellent experience during my two night stay. The rooms were clean, the service was great, but the hot spring was the best out of the whole experience. The pools were clean, a little outdated but overall it was a nice environment. Steve was very friendly and brought a good spirit to me and my family. I recommend visiting this place and choosing to stay here, honestly a relaxing experience.

Planning another return next year same time. Do you need a getaway way far away? Off the grid? Maybe close to a brewery or restaurant? Or both? You can't beat this place for the amenities and its closeness to nothing.

Hot spring area hit the spot, Steve was such a delight to be around, checked multiple times to make sure we were all comfortable with water temperature, and overall amazing service from my man Steve!

I had an amazing stay with my family at David Walley's Resort for two nights! Our room was nice and clean, and the Resort is in a quiet and peaceful area. The Hot Springs were also great, especially with Steve around, who had a good spirit and would check up on us once in a while to make sure the water temperature was perfect. Overall, I had a great experience at David Walley's Resort, and I'm looking forward to coming back some time again!

2018: I have been here for just one night, but am quite pleased so far.
Edited to add: I spent seven nights here and loved it! The hot springs were very relaxing. We had a two bedroom unit with a full kitchen, living area and two balconies and it was very spacious.

2024: Stayed here again for seven nights, this time in a different two bedroom unit with a beautiful view of trees, a pond and a mountain. This unit was decorated in a more rustic style than the one I stayed at in 2018.

I believe Holiday Inn has purchased the property. There is some incorrect info on the website....I don't believe the on-site restaurant is open for breakfast any longer,

The stay was very relaxing and I hope to return.

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay. The hot spring was so amazing and peaceful. the pool was clean and felt like it is being maintained very well. Lastly Steven was an absolute delight, he tookl the time to guide us correctly and seem to be very knowledgeable about the area
