Holiday Inn Express & Suites Minden, an IHG Hotel

The Bathroom sink had 2 years of hair down the drain! What kills me is the maid has to know that and do nothing! My poor husband had to take the stopper out of sink to clean the drain icky! Works like a charm now.

This is a good place to stay in Minden. It's right next to the truck stop, so if you need a layover, and a shower and free breakfast, this is the place. The lobby is nice and big and a good place to hold any small meetings if you need.

Coffee is out 24/7 so that's a good thing as is the breakfast. Good selection of hot choices and cold juices or all kinds.

The rooms are decent and clean and the wifi works fine. You get points for staying here in your IHG account if you have one and you really should.

Great room service, friendly check in and very good breakfast! Rooms on Friday & Saturday got a little pricey. Week day rates are about average.

We are regular Holiday Inn Express guests, and each one is unique. We came in late last night desperate for a room...they were quite busy but had a spot for us! Everyone was quite friendly and helpful. The decor wasn't as cozy as the other locations, and we weren't sure if one of the beds had been laundered, but the manager made it all right when we brought it up to her. Standard holiday inn breakfast except they also had potatoes and almond milk available (I'm a fan). I recommend checking this location out if you're going to visit Lake Tahoe and can stand a short drive-they'll have a higher chance of a vacancy and are a bit more affordable.

Clean Hotel. Breakfast was good. Family and Pet Friendly Hotel. Additional $40/night if you have a pet.

The price was reasonable, rooms were clean. The free breakfast service was pretty good, plenty of food. They had a great lady who helped in that area, best I have ever seen in a free hotel breakfast service.

Great service & beautiful room!
We were able to check in 1 hour earlier & check in was super fast. The beds were nice & clean. The bathroom was amazingly clean! Tons of extra towels. Room came equipped with a microwave, fridge and coffee maker. Heating & air worked superb! Not a bad breakfast selection either. Only spent $170 for for the night & it was worth every penny! Looking forward to booking our stay in the future!!

Excellent experience: the room had most of the amenities we needed (hand soap missing from by the sink), the fellow from the front desk helped us successfully troubleshoot the TV, beds and entire room were clean and comfy, the room was large, and parking extremely convenient. Strong recommend.

Enjoyed my brief stay. The hotel was very clean. Rooms were very nice, modern and huge flat screen TV. The room had a microwave, fridge and coffee maker for K Cups. The front desk people were very nice and helpful at check in and out. ATM was available, usb connection in room available and a room with computer/printers available. Complimentary breakfast was good but due to COVID-19 minimal but understandable. Parking was not an issue. Lots of places to get food around the area.

Amazing customer service! While I did not get to stay here due to a family emergency, the staff was very helpful in working with booking.com to get my refund. It was a long winded and annoying process but Debra and Kiara were kind, patient, and accommodating. They really care about their guests and prioritize guest needs above all else. I look forward to rescheduling my Tahoe trip next ski season and staying at the hotel. Tip-book directly with them!

Best hotel in the Minden Gardnerville area by far. Very clean, modern rooms, comfortable mattress with great pillows. Safe area. A bit on the expensive side but you get what you pay for.

Nice and quiet. Very nice breakfast area. Open and spacious. Pool was a little chilly. Overall complex was nice. Liked the low entry bathtub/shower. I'd rate the beds as fairly firm. Good location. Cheap gas right next door. Reasonable drive into Tahoe. Avoid resort fee at Tahoe location. Would stay again

We stayed three nights at this hotel during a golf vacation. We found the accommodations to be excellent, staff members were friendly and helpful. If you started early for your complimentary breakfast, there were plenty of delicious items to choose from.

I stayed here during my time working in Carson City and never had one problem. The management were friendly and helpful and got to know them as friends. I married my wife in Reno and we stayed here during our honeymoon. The upgraded us to a large suite for the three days. Awesome people and a beautiful place. All around.

Stayed here in May 2021 for a trip to Lake Tahoe -- arriving via Reno Airport was relatively quick and easy. The woman who checked us in was lovely, and the property was clean and organized throughout (no harsh disinfectant smells like some hotel properties these days).

I thought that the location was pretty convenient for our visit to Lake Tahoe, and its proximity to a gas station (Arco, ugh) as well as food / Walmart was pretty nice. The breakfast choices at this Holiday Inn were pretty good, and it exceeded my experiences at Hyatt Place / House and even an InterContinental during our trip. Cleanliness of the room and property was great, i'd definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay near Lake Tahoe without the price premium.

My husband and I recently spent 3 nights at the Minden location and we have not one negative thing to say. The room was comfortable, the continental breakfast had ample selection of food choices, the staff was very pleasant. I will most definitely stay here again!

The standard high expectations fulfilling Holiday Inn Express with comfortable beds, full-function refrigerators, a pool/hotTub combo, and a secure guest laundromat right by the pool. Exceeding high expectations, breakfast was ready at 5:30 when I got up!
