Been coming to this store since I moved here. Great asset to the community. I understand that nothing is perfect but at least Cooper's Foods tries. Love ya guys!

This place had the most unique items. It was fun just going up and down the isles looking at all the items. It's not your normal grocery store but it does have everything I needed that I could get from a chain grocery store also. They have brand names and names I have never heard of but it was very well priced.

Just found out they are closing this location, very sad to hear. Best wishes to future endeavors to the Cooper family. Thank you for what you have provided the community of Chaska for the past 107 years.

My hometown grocer!
Consistent and caring. A lot less hassle than Target and CUB. Always great service!
And they have awesome in-house made products like bar-b-q ribs, chicken pot pies, and a whole deli section of ready to eat and special order for catered events. Check out the meat department!

Store closing for good on March 2, 2024!

The heartbeat of Chaska! For those that should but don't know (and should) Coopers has been feeding this cities children, adults and grandparents back when all this City was known for was bricks. Look around you as you drive to get your food and if the person in the car next to you has any wrinkles they were fed by Cooper's. Sure sometimes they have things that could look better or get close to that mythical "expiration date" but ask grandma for your favorite dish and if she goes to her freezer to thaw something out it's most likely from there. I started working there at 17 years old (43 now) and Coopers was already providing me with everything I needed for the rest of my life. I hope my city (Chaska) doesn't turn into a snobby town like Eden Prarie but all arrows seem to point in that direction with today's instant gratification environment.

Feel free to pick on the status of there food but I shop here for the quality and history of the people he employed and continues to employ!

Chaska is on the edge of becoming just another big city box store where people don't even look at eachother and that scares me, and as soon as we forget that this town started at the bottom of the hill it's over. "#keepChaskaunique" needs to be started but I'm not the person skilled enough to to create it.

The lady there that was checking me and my dad out and was a super very nice lady and they had another one bagging our groceries. The price there is super cheap so I would 100% recommend this place it is very family friendly and clean. Thank you so much Coopers Food for that great experience.

This is one of the last real grocery stores left. I enjoy the small town feel. I enjoy shopping here. The staff is wonderful. Prices are comparable. Totally one of the great places in chaska

I loved it when they were a 24 hour place. They're only open until midnight now. For a place smaller than Cub they have a great variety, a fair representation of international foods (Mexican and Asian mostly). They've got a good deli selection. The produce is usually good, but sometimes it looks like they have second quality available. The price will reflect that though. I think they make an effort to bring some lower cost options for those on a fixed income. They also have a good meat selection. The staff is always friendly and there is the "down home" feel.

I've recently moved to Chaska and have been shopping at Coopers because it's so convenient. I love their selection of Amish goods and they carry other local items that you can't find at other grocery stores (like smoked whitefish). Prices are decent too. I highly recommend checking this market out.

If you are looking for carpeted floors and fresh halibut this isn't your place. If you are looking for friendly, socially responsible, community focused... best grocer ever. I shop here for the vast majority of my needs and I'm never disappointed.

Wife stopped by there today and witnessed a remarkably generous act by the store management. Won’t get into details but only to say, helped a family in need when they had no obligation to do so. Coopers may not have been our regular location as we are newer to area but if folks like this are running this operation, we highly encourage patronage of Coopers — helping community is what it is about.

For the original small-town store, it operates like it's back in the 60's. Their meats are terrific. Have used them for catering too, never disappointed.

Cooper's is a great, small town grocery store, extremely convenient to all of downtown Chaska. We frequently stop in for purchases, and everyone is typically friendly and very helpful. If you are looking for something specific they will help you find it, or even get it in the store for you regularly, if needed. They have recently worked on getting the store cleaned up and putting effort into the feel of the store. I love Cooper's and chose them over the big chains whenever I can.

Gary and Sandy Cooper are the ultimate community supporters and they are the only locally owned grocery store in eastern Carver County. Gary has some really great smoked fish and his bacon selection is fantastic. Do yourself a favor and get to know the Coopers.

Old grocery stores like Coopers are hard to find. I like the aroma of donuts from their bakery everytime I walk in. Yes their $ is a bit higher than anywhere else, their selection somewhat less, and the store looks worn... but their people are friendly and the deli has great food.

I enjoy shopping at Coopers. It's well stocked, has a really good selection for a smaller-sized store, and the fresh produce is good. Prices are reasonable (I shop when they have sales). I recommend giving it a try!
