Double J Cafe

My husband and I were on a "drive" on a beautiful day today. I love having breakfast out as a treat. I have to preface this that I admit I am picky. Was in the service industry for years and cook a lot. We stopped here and ordered the full potato sausage breakfast, hamburger steak breakfast and pancakes. I can honestly say it was one of the best I have ever had. The eggs, perfectly done, sausage, wonderful and pancakes hot, crispy on the edges, tender, oh my, the best I have ever had anywhere. Wonderful service and chef. Thank you, we will be back!

The food was amazing I went with my sister during school and it was so good, the man that served us was so sweet and the other two men that sat in the restaurant talked with him and it made the place feel so homey and was just an overall great experience!

CASH ONLY!!!!! Pulling up to this restaurant I was a little hesitant but I’m glad that I went in!! Breakfast was amazing, we had a big group and the food came out quickly at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area. I will be back for more breakfasts in the future!

Our family always stops and eats at “Double J Cafe” on MN Hwy 23 in downtown Ogilvie MN. Good food, good prices!

Good food, I enjoy coming here. Love it when Shirley is here. She is a hoot. Rather quiet around lunch time. But can't beat the good food. Have never had any bad service yet. They have booster seats for toddlers. They have a bar to eat at it your eating alone or booths and tables if your eating with a family. They have a room off to the side that could fit 12 people between two tables. Good place to take a 4wheeler or snowmobile too. Reminds me of an older café.

Great food! It's a little place with amazing home cooked food. We got served right away by the owner/waitress/cook, but other people that came in after us had to wait a while. No one seemed to mind.

Stopped by for lunch on our way to Wisconsin. You don't want to miss this place the food is wonderful I had the french dip, my wife had the fish basket, both were very good. Looking forward to stopping by there again.

Quaint little restaurant. The Beef Barley soup was outstanding. As was the California burger and the Hot Beef and Cheese. Fries were crispy.

What a cozy, friendly place. Down-home cooking to perfection! It's a neighboring Cafe where locals and travelers are warmly welcomed and included in conversations if they so desire.

A small hometown diner with the best french toast I’ve ever had! We were stopping here looking for a quick bite to eat and it turned into a spot we will be coming back to again and again!
