Cub - West Saint Paul

Cub is my go to store, but I have to give a huge shout out to gentleman who checked me out tonight. There was the rudest man in front of me belittling the Cub employee and I tell you he took it. I was almost in tears, when the man left I told him “I’m sorry you had to deal with that”. Yes store staff is wonderful, had I been working the man would have left with nothing but an escort out lol 😝.

What started out as a horrible morning has been fixed by Andy in the bakery. After being horribly let down by the bakery at Target (they never entered my order from 6 days ago into the system so I didn’t have a cake for my sons birthday) and being turned down for last minute help at Walmart and Hyvee (understandable), Andy went above and beyond. I walked in, plead my case and he said “give me 25 minutes” and he was done early! Thank you Andy for saving my morning and my son’s birthday!

I would thank Dean in seafood,meat,his service is the best anytime, and all the time very friendly, professional your friend from Texas (froglegs) once again thanks can't wait to come back for your service Thanks Dean.

This goes out to the bakery department. I want to give them 5 stars! I went to pick up a custom order cake I had ordered today. Once I arrived to their surprise and mine the cake had cracks all over it. The gentleman working in the bakery apologized and politely asked if I had time for him to remake the cake. I said sure. He quickly and efficiently remade the cake just like I had ordered it. It turned out perfect! My 9 year old niece was over the moon with how her Birthday cake turned out!!! Thank you Cub bakery of West St Paul for making a young girls birthday during a pandemic so special!

This was my first delivery order, and it was seamless! I generally pick up my order, but do to a snowy road my car needs repair.

From the Cub Associate that filled my order to the friendly delivery person, it was a great experience.
Barb kept me updated on my order, and Susan offered to assist in any way during the delivery.

Today I went to the Cub Foods in West St. Paul and the lady working in the bakery was amazing. I wanted a graduation cake with cool whip frosting. There were none so she made me one with decorations, the students' names,,, in less then 15 minutes. The cake looks great!!!! Thank you so much for going out of your way to do this for me.

This is a high volume store, and the customers wage a daily battle against it with trashing the parking lot or the store itself. But the manager is always at 100% hustle, rallying his phone-zombie cart guys, pulling out palettes for restocking, chasing out thugs/shoplifters, or interacting with the customers.

The stocking is always on point and ongoing. And the stock staff understand you are shopping and have peripheral sense or give you the right of way if they are in your way. The produce can be pretty miserable in the winter, but I think that's just Cub and MN. (Garlic is either that summer / purple variant, or the wet mushy winter kind. There's only a few months it's good. And the oranges are almost never a good buy.)

The front end is always well stocked with bags and clean, and the wait times are always pretty low and service is typically friendly.

Best local grocery store. This is a franchise from what I understand which seems to be reflected in the care of they take of displays, Etc. But the deli here is superb and has an amazing selection. They are always very busy so i recommend a tad of patience. They have a nice variety of organics and natural foods mixed in the sections. I think the variety is even better then the super target store. Nice fresh flower bouquets available, as well as hot self serve area in the deli.

The deli staff always know their stuff, and are super helpful. Prices are pretty good over all, and it's rare that I go shopping here and don't find what I'm looking for (and if I can't find it, it's because it's pretty uncommon to start with)

Great place for all your groceries needs. They always have fresh produce. Very friendly staff and the place is clean and we'll organised. You also get water can refills here. They make very tasty cookies and donuts not to forget their birthday cakes are as good. Overall the place is perfect for weekly shopping and also can be done with ease.

We ordered a cake and some cupcakes from the bakery last week for our twin 4-year-olds birthday party and we were absolutely delighted with how they turned out. The baker we ordered from was incredibly friendly and patient when I ordered and when I picked up. The cake and the cupcakes were gorgeous and delicious! We got a ton of compliments! We would definitely order from the bakery again.

This is my go to store. I have been shopping here for years. Love the fuel rewards card. Usually clean and orderly. Most things are well stocked. The cashier's are always friendly and helpful.

What an amazing team at the bakery! I had an online order fall through (not ruling out operater error here), and I called to check on pretty big order of mini cupcakes we had for pickup the next day. They had no record of the order, nor could I find the confirmation email. They scrambled and made it all happen by our pickup time. It was unbelievable!

I love this Cub store because the people there are nice and helpful. Also they have a nice selection of food and other products. Their bakery and deli are great. We've been shopping at this Cub since about 1995. Plus I appreciate that the have a pharmacy, health & beauty department.

great Produce and deli counter. Never have to wait to long. Pharmacy is pretty good too. The male pharmacist (I forget his name) is really nice and helpful

Recently remodeled, it is very nice. With all the different grocery stores out there, Cub is a definite go to. Quality of the product and freshness is important to me and I get that at Cub.

Im a regular for midnight shopping. It's the best! I love the deli, however ofc they arent open at midnight but the cranberry chicken pasta thing is my favorite. I bring it to every party.
