Vince is the man. He always takes great care of his customers and the subs are top notch.

Best subs in town at a great value. Usually a line out the door at lunchtime but the guys making sandwiches are pros- even when slicing fresh meat and cheese for each sandwich they can make a ton of sandwiches fast. The longest I've ever waited in line is 5 minutes even with a line to the door. Grab a Faygo red pop and a bag of sour cream and onion Better Mades and you've got yourself a lunch. True Detroit classic.

Excellent subs, fairly priced - assembled from meats sliced and added right in front of you. Lots of options, plus meatball subs. They make pizza fresh to order, with real vegetables and house tomato sauce, at prices near identical to the chains. Even their onions for pizza are sliced fresh - paper thin, and the taste is noticeable...trust me. Beverages: between pop, juices, waters, beer, wine, and coolers, there must be over 150 choices.

Dude this place has the BEST Little Italian Sub sandwich! If you're feeling beefy, then go for the Belly Buster size. But they aren't kidding about that name.

Bonus points to the super friendly guy behind the counter who makes a fast sandwich AND genuinely laughs at my corny Dad Jokes. 😆

Great subs! Made fresh right when you order. Toasted or cold they are always great. I tried the macaroni salad and that too was delicious. Prices are not too exspensive. Great little corner store. Friendly staff. I would recommend for sure!

Best subs in town.. family owned and the employees are always great. Mr's A's can also get you your holiday ham or turkey. Home made breads and dinner rolls too!

One of my top 5 places to eat....ever. Been getting sandwiches here with my dad since I was a kid. Much higher quality of ingredients than most places with the best service from good people and a cheap price tag. Literally twice the meat as a subway “5 dollar(read $10) foot long”. Toasted too!

They make the best submarine sandwiches that I've had in awhile I will not go back to Subway for many different reasons, the subs are much better than Subway anyway

I am a huge lover of italian sandwiches. If it's on a menu, I order it. When I moved to the East Side, I was told that Bommarito's is the quintessential italian sub location. While I thought they were good, they were not on the top of my list.

Cut to visiting a friend for her birthday. There was a party sub calling my name in the corner. As I approached it I noticed something strange. I've never encountered this sub before. Now it really doesn't look any different than any italian sub, the delicious scent it gave off told me that I was in for a treat. I took myself a slice and immediately fell in love. I ran to my friend to ask her, "Hey friend, where is this sandwich from? This is amazing!". "Mister A's Party Shoppe on Mack" she replied.

And that my fellow Yelpers, is the story of where I found the 2nd best Italian Sub I have ever had in my life.

But in all seriousness, this place is great. Each sub has hand sliced to order meats, fresh bread, and toppings. They have a a nice variety of other foods from their deli counter as well.

The food is great and extremely well priced. My only complaint is that if you don't spend more than $20 on your credit/debit card, they charge you an additional $1 on your order. Seems a little ridiculous, but I guess I'll just call it the Sub Tax, which when put that way, makes it a little bit better.

First time back here in around 20 years. I got the regular Italian toasted. Will have to say still just as good today as they were before. The best Italian sub on the Eastside, and for the price you can"t beat it.

Picked up a turkey party sub for game night on Saturday and it was excellent. First time dealing with Mister A's and it will not be my last.

I've been going here for most of my life to get the Bell Buster. It is a very enjoyable sub. I recommend Getting a Bell Buster, one gallon of Chocolate milk and some chips. My overall favorite small business.

Great tucked away sandwich shoppe. The sandwiches are always great. They have chips that you cant get from other locations as well as pretty much all of the snack favorites made in Detroit.

Subs are Delicious! My go to is Italian or Turkey & Ham. One of my rotating lunch spots. Prices are Great too. Vince & Christine are the Best!!
