This gym is absolutely fantastic! It’s always clean and beaming with energy. My mom has been attending Rock Steady classes for about 5 months now, and some yoga classes here and there. Mike is such a wonderfully caring soul who encourages, motivates and helps build up my mom’s confidence every class. Both Mike and Deb are so vested in helping others it’s just awesome!! My mom and I have lots of fun at Rock Steady! Thank you to Mike and Deb for going above and beyond every day ❤

Our daughter’s hockey team spent their summer training at The Boxing Rink. What a fantastic experience the girls had. The facility is clean, energetic & exceptionally staffed with knowledgeable trainers. The harder the girls worked, the more they enjoyed it. Some of the Mom’s enjoyed yoga sessions while
The girls worked out. Thank you to Mike & Barbara for a such a great facility for athletes & their teams to train.

My first visit to the Boxing Rink I was apprehensive, 59 1/2 yrs. old and put on some weight; my daughter suggested I try this Boxing class, I love different types of workouts and thought I'd give it a try..... In February it'll be 5 yrs!
Love Mike's passion, his way of helping you push yourself. He makes classes fun, but challenging.
The mix of ages of the members, I love! Especially when the younger members tell me that I'm their role model lol!
We are a family and always welcome the new members in.
I highly recommend Boxing classes and a great balance is to try the yoga classes for balance and flexibility. Barb is a great instructor and helps the newcomers feel at ease, her classes leave you feeling calm and a sense of confidence.
Come on in and see for yourself.

My son and I have taken several of the 8 week boxing courses, and we've been very happy with the overall experience of each class. The format of each class makes this accessible to most everybody allowing people of all fitness levels to benefit. The content offered is fantastic and Mike's ability to coach and help motivate is impressive (he's also very patient!). I highly recommend any of the 8 week boxing courses.

Super clean, and easy, free parking right out front. The trainers are friendly and well educated. Their special population programs are top notch, with Rock Steady Boxing for Parkinson’s, Senior Focus for elderly, and they are especially known for their off ice training program for hockey teams! The yoga studio is nice and toasty and a nice cozy room to practice. I love the private rental option too, if you want to just go in and do your own thing.

I began working with Mike, Barb and Deb with our travel hockey teams. The Boxing Rink innovative training technique kept our 3 very diverse aged teams active, motivated and eager to come to the boxing rink weekly for fun and productive training sessions. At first I was very hesitant about having our teams participate in hot yoga training, however the first year we did it our injury rate plummeted and our stride mechanics, balance and team speed increased substantially. The on ice sessions with Mike are always a highlight of the team training - by incorporating the coordinated movement and core development of boxing with the balance and center of gravity awareness of skating, our stickhandling and ability to win board battles and protect the puck improved tremendously. If your team is looking to improve their on ice presence and compete level the Boxing Rink is a great source! On a personal note, after seeing how clean the facility is and how attentive the staff are, my wife and I began hot yoga on Wednesday evenings. Being a former hockey player that trained in the 80's and 90's with injuries that go with the sport - the yoga was difficult and unfamiliar at first, but I found my confidence while improving balance, flexibility and overall health through the sessions.

Love this gym and Mike is an amazing instructor! His classes and personal sessions have made such a difference not only in my physical but my mental well being. I always walk out of there challenged and proud I pushed myself. Add in the Yoga and its a PERFECT place to work out and find some zen as well !

Our high school hockey team has been training with Mike and his staff for the past several years. Our players love the workouts and the training they receive. The Boxing Rink adds another dimension to our off ice training and delivers the results were looking for. I highly recommend The Boxing Rink!

I did my internship at The Boxing Rink and loved every minute of it. I was able to get hands on training with Rock Steady Boxing for Parkinson’s, AAA Hockey, and Yoga! All of the coaches are personable and welcoming. There are so many programs here and is worth the time checking them out

What a fantastic guy Coach Mike is and what a wonderful program the Rock Steady Parkinson’s program is. I went to watch for my dad who is now wheelchair bound. He engages the patients and their caregivers mentally by discussing current events or recent experiences or frustrations, which for many right now (COVID) they have very few outlets for ‘conversation’. He engages them emotionally by making them laugh and smile playing loud pump you up music and air guitaring, and of course physically keeping them working hard to stay independent. I’m so impressed. Thank you!

My wife, two sons (13 & 10) and I recently concluded the 8 week beginning boxing class. It was a great hour of family time a week taking us all out of our comfort zone to learn something new. Coach Mike made it a wonderful experience for all of us with his patience and sound teaching methods. I would highly recommend this class to anyone.

The Boxing rink is an updated athletic facility for all athletes. Both my sons are professional hockey players that have had help from Mike on certain training aspects of their development. Please check the place out , it provides nothing but the best. Mike and Barb are great people who will help you with your needs. Thanks Fred Perlini

My son, my daughter, and myself all took beginner and intermediate classes at The Boxing Rink. I can’t say enough good things about owner and trainer, Mike Marteli. He is kind, professional, and takes time with every student individually. Great place to learn boxing!!

If your looking for a true total body work out beginner or advanced fitness levels- this is a great choice! The turbo box & 1 on 1 training gets my body in shape more than any other boxing gym i've been to-& its fun! They also have yoga so can unwind after which is a fabulous bonus! The facility is clean, great equipment, & kind helpful staff!

Mike is the best . My daughter who has a physical disability has been training with him for almost 3 years now . He is patient , innovative with exercises but most of all challenging . The studio is an open space with lots of equipment and choices.

I’ve been participating in the Rock Steady program at The Rink for nearly three years and have found it to be of great value in slowing down the progression of my Parkinsons Disease affliction. Mike and his team of Rock Steady coaches are very dedicated to this effective program.

RBS has helped me greatly. Their guidance with exercise, stretching, and boxing is keeping my condition from limiting my life style. The inter-action with the staff and my peers at the gym has also been a very positive experience. I highly recommend their program.

I really can't say enough about The Boxing Rink and Deyoga Room. I must admit that it was a definite challenge at first to get myself in some kinda shape. But now, (after almost four years) I am definitely able to see (and feel) the difference! I've learned that the only thing standing between me and my goals is consistency and perseverance! This is an awesome facility, and Mike and all the staff make it so worth the effort!!!

I've been in the Senior Focus Yoga and Senior Focus Exercise for a little over a year. Both are great and have helped me immensely with my walking, balance and endurance. Also if I am having an issue with a certain exercise or movement, there is individual attention to solve it.

The Boxing Rink has something for everyone. If you’re looking for a good workout, training, yoga, to something for seniors too. Everyone is super nice and friendly there. It’s always a welcoming and almost homely.
