Market Street Inn

We absolutely love Market Street Inn! My husband and I just celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary with a stay here and Brian and Liz made it extra special. We stayed in a king jacuzzi suite and loved the room! Breakfast is always a highlight with the yummy turnovers-they are a must-try! We can recommend Market Street Inn enough. We will be back!

We booked this B & B based on the great reviews. They did not disappoint! Innkeepers, Brian and Liz make your stay so comfortable. This quaint home is so warm and inviting, not to mention it is in a great location. We will definitely be back!

I feel like the other reviews speak for themselves. We decided to stay here based on all the positive reviews and I’m so glad we did! Great location (tucked behind Main Street), adorable decorations, and amazing hosts. If you can find availability, do yourself a favor and stay here!

My wife and I spent a long weekend in May celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary at mackinac island. We picked market Street Inn originally for the price but when we met Brian and Liz and how friendly they were, the price was just an add on bonus. They are wonderful people to meet. Gave suggestions where to eat, what to see - they really made our anniversary special! The rooms were so comfortable and clean. We would HIGHLY recommend staying with Brian and Liz!

Stayed a long weekend on the island with another couple to participate in the Mackinac Island Swimrun. The location of the Inn was perfect. Very close to everything but off the Main Street so that it was quiet. The rooms are exceptionally well kept and everything was spotless. Brian and Liz, the owners, seem like they were born for this job. They made us feel like we were friends staying at their house and not paying guests. It’s not the Grand Hotel. I think it is better.

Absolutely amazing!! I could not recommend a Bed and Breakfast more highly. Liz and Brian are the absolute best hosts. The inn is very clean and well-kept, the rooms are beautiful, and the breakfast is delightful. The parlor and outdoor garden area are lovely for sitting and reading, or chatting with your travel buddies. I will be visiting again!!

Market Street Inn is super clean, and cozy. Liz and all the other staff are very nice. The location is good and close to everything. Complimentary breakfast, fudge and cookie treats in the check in area are delicious. Enjoyed our stay! highly recommended!!

We absolutely love staying here. We've stayed here for the past several years when we come up in the summer. Brian and Liz are amazing, and run an outstanding Bed and Breakfast. We'd recommend staying there to anyone. The location, service, and hospitality are awesome!

This is our second year staying at Market Street Inn. Brian and Liz are excellent hosts and the rooms are comfortable and very nicely decorated. Location is perfect and just off the main busy(loud) streets. Definitely will be back next year and years following.

Market street inn is a cute and cozy inn! The location was perfect for sightseeing, walkable from the main street, with option to park bike. The room was very clean, Brian and liz were very kind and always ready to help. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, enjoyed fresh cooked breakfast in the beautiful backyard and warm cookies in the afternoon. 10/10 recommend

We just concluded a wonderful three night stay at the Market Street Inn.

Our hosts, primarily Liz, Brian and Maggie were amazingly welcoming. It is clear they are passionate about their Inn and their guests! The rooms and facility were clean and well kept, and offered many options to get away - but keep WiFi for those that need it.

Our breakfasts were brought to a choice of dining spot including room service. The turnovers we're delicious but my favorite - the blueberry lemon muffin! Scrumptious!

The Inn is right off the main street, this means a block away from dining and live music, yet still serene. Can't wait to go back!

Market Street Inn is our favorite! Brian & Liz have set the standard for great innkeepers. Comfortable, beautiful large rooms, home-like atmosphere, private courtyard in the back, good breakfast. Convenient to everything. You will love it too!

Stayed here at the end of July 2022 and it was wonderful. We were a group of 8 and took 3 rooms, my family and I stayed in the family suite. Clean rooms and wonderful service. The owners were out of town for a family emergency but their friends filling in for them where amazing hosts and we never noticed! I even got to talk a little hockey with Mark and that's always fun.

10/10 would highly recommend this place. It's one block off Lakeshore Drive (185) but no where near as busy and the front porch is very peaceful and relaxing. Close enough to all the attractions on the main strip but far enough away that you felt like you were really on vacation! And right at the base of the fort so easy to get to. Just an amazing place to relax and call home for however long you are on the island.

What a splendid weekend at the Market Street Inn! From our arrival which was expertly handled by our Assistant Innkeeper, to the special touches throughout our stay, and finally the great service at check-out, this was the perfect trip. Our room was clean and tidy and we were perfectly placed for any Mackinac adventure one could dream of. We especially appreciated the Assistant Innkeeper par excellence, Miss Maggie. Her charm, friendliness, and attention to detail were both above and beyond anything we have ever experienced. A real gem that should be talk the of Market Street and Mackinac as a whole.

We really enjoyed our stay at the inn! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The inn itself is beautiful and close to the shops, restaurants, parks, and more. Despite being close and conveniently located to everything, the inn was quiet and cozy at night. I definitely recommend staying here and would love to visit again someday!

What a perfect place to stay on Mackinaw Island. The staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The location is great, one street over from main street makes a huge difference when it comes to noise. The rooms were clean and very nice. We booked one of the rooms that had a private jacuzzi and that was the best part. They even got me and the wife a bottle of sparkling wine because we were celebrating our anniversary. Could not recommend enough!

My husband and I had our first stay at a bed/breakfast in late July for 5 days. What a wonderful place to experience our vacation to Mackinac Island. The hosts were very detailed along with the staff. Great location and a peaceful backyard/porch just to relax. We would stay again.

Market Street Inn is one of my absolute favorite places to stay on Macinac Island. My wife and I like to stay in the Garden Suite. I love how secluded it makes you feel. You're only a short walk away from the main strip but you don't feel like you're right in the middle of town with everyone else so its kind of like the best of both worlds. The staff here are also some of the kindest most accommodating hosts ever! If I HAD to make any complaint, it would be the shower is a little small in our room, but we're not on Macinac Island for a shower. You will not be disappointed with your stay at Market Street Inn!

Such a great B&B! I highly recommend! Perfect location! Right next to Marquette park, one block up from the shops so you're close but in a quiet area! The staff was amazing, Tim and Liz were so welcoming and accommodating! The prices for rooms is SO reasonable for everything you get! Breakfast served right to our room each morning was amazing! Missing this little oasis already and can't wait to come back! ❤
