Bennett Park

Hidden (to me before!) gem of several play areas wrapped within a paved walking path. Covered seating areas, well placed benches, horseshoe set ups, playgrounds and equipment reminiscent of my own childhood. Definitely plan to return with more time.

Been going to this park since I was a youngster. Now that I'm 44, I take my kids and we always enjoy ourselves!!! So many trails to wonder and the park has plenty for young kids!

Best place to walk in Charlotte. The main path is paved and has benches for breaks for those that require them. Also allows dogs on leaches, just clean up after them 😊.

A beautiful park with excellent walking trails, Pavilions, bathrooms, and lots of play equipment for kids. Excellent parking and an all around Great Park.

This park is where I bring my kids to play, have picnics or just to sit and relax listening to the water. Also a great place to have a get together with the pavilions and picnic tables. 3 play areas allows variety for all ages of children. It's a wonderful place to catch great pictures of scenery and the leaves changing in the fall as shown in my own pictures I have taken.

I love this park! There are 3 separate play structure areas with plenty of shade trees, pavilions & picnic tables. Also has a short semiconductor paved bike path / walking trail.

It's my kid's favorite park they love the little diggers in the sand pit & the marigal rounds. There's more than enough equipment spread out over a nice size park that they never have to wait for a slide or swing & They always seem to run into other friendly kids to play with.

Lovely place to visit.
After a long day, if I'm tired I will pull into a parking spot and take a 10 minute nap in the shade and then finish my journey.

Has multiple play grounds, horseshoe Pitts, handicap swing, and lots if trails for people to walk. Can't say enough good things about this park.

Great place for kids to play and walking/biking trails available. Dog friendly.

This is a wonderful place to be it's not far from where I live I love walkin in the trails very peaceful

Very nice. Nice trails for walking or biking. Nice creek/river along the trails. 3 different parks for all ages. Pavillions, and picnic tables. Public restrooms at the front of the park. Horse show area that's fenced off for safety. Place to park & lock your bike up. Lots of parking space.

Loved this place as a kid and still do! There's a football field right next to it and there's also a couple biking/walking trails. Fun and chill place.

I really enjoyed going to this park in the Spring and Summer when I lived in the area. The paths are really nice and I always liked the bridges over the river. There was plenty of woods to go exploring in too. I always hoped to find ramps or morels, but I never found any myself. It's very peaceful and pretty though.

Nice park to walk/bicycle on paved path through woods. Hike like trails throughout park also. Restrooms & pet friendly!

Very nice park, lots of activities to do for kids of all ages. There is a dog trail. Also handicap swing ❤

Love walking the trails around the river

We a surprise 50th anniversary there today. It was very nice of our children to host it. Thank you so much. It rained but we stayed dry under the pavilion.
