THE THIRSTY BIRD BAR & KITCHEN

Savannah was a personable and attentive waitress. The food choices were broad and prepared to order quickly. Everything was delicious. We were there on DJ Trivia night. Our team had a great time. The DJ was very motivated and cheerful. We loved how she kept things moving throughout the night. We didn't win, but we sure had fun!

Please understand when I say I give the atmosphere five stars may have a different meaning Then what you might be used to.
For me, the 5 stars means it was wasn't too loud to carry on a conversation, it was nice and clean and antique looking.
It's not a large kitchen. Looks like a large closet that you walk into and you could turn any 4 directions to Perform A Task.
The food was amazing, and the staff was great and cheerful. The Waitress came by appropriately to see how we are doing.
For me, the biggest con is we stopped through here as we were passing through town the odds of going that direction again are pretty slim.
If it was closer I would visit here more often.
I know, I said the food was amazing, but it was prepared perfectly.
Many restaurants use the same sources for food But what sets them apart are the cooks that no, just the right amount of time to cook something for.
This place has such a cook. The food was the perfect texture for me because it was cooked to perfection.
I always strive to leave a con.
Parking is not the greatest, I had to walk, but closer than when I go to Meijer.
The cost was very good, around 10 per person.

This was an accidental find on a detour from I69 in Olivet, Michigan. Super friendly staff and though the menu was simple the gentleman in the kitchen obviously took pride in preparing food. Unfortunately I was too hungry to take a picture of my two quarter pound hot dogs with a thick and excellent coating of chili. The fries were hot and cooked in fresh oil.

My wife had a taco and a special request salad not on the menu. She went on and on about her food. A week later she is still talking about the salad! The beer mug was cold and huge... nearly had tennis elbow by the time lunch was over. Had we not been traveling I'm pretty sure we would have hung around and been arrested cause the beer was too cold, the food was too good and the lady waiting our table was cool! My apologies for not including food pictures!

Delicious! I had the spicy feta fried chicken sandwich. Very friendly staff also.

I have been here several times and ordered something different each time and everything has been outstanding. The prices are as reasonable as you'll find and the server has remembered me each time. I will keep coming back as much as I can.

It was our first time there and I have to command the excellent staff and the ambiance.

The chicken waffle bites are AMAZING! Fries were fantastic. The staff were friendly and attentive even though they were clearly busy. To top it all off, we spent less than expected. We will be back!

My sister and I decided to try the Thirsty Bird for lunch. We each got the chicken quesadilla, the chicken meat was a bit dry, but the seasoning was spot on, the salsa was delicious and the sour cream was thick and tasty!
A few days later, we decided to try something different...tater kegs and the ham & Swiss wrap. The tater kegs were an eye opener, absolutely delicious and very filling! The ham & Swiss wrap was the best I have ever had, it was nice to actually taste the ham.
Can't wait to try other menu items in the very near future!!!

We had a party of 10 and they did a great job taking care of us. Their salad offerings are wonderful, I had the Fruit, Nut, Cheese salad and my daughter had the Grilled Chicken Cesar. Taco Tuesday was also delicious, $1.50 per taco so you can't beat it, and 3 choices of meat! Nice owners, they checked in on us.

Local recommended this place, from the Chicago area. BLT sandwich combo was great, my travel group came in on the 26th after the Viking Festival in Charlotte.

Fun drink specials. Great staff. Menu basic pub grub. Some optional gluten free bread would be fantastic.

I had a very pleasant experience at the Thirsty Bird. I haven't spent time in Charlotte before so I was very happy I chose such a great place to eat.

I had an "adult juice box" with coconut rum that was refreshing and tasty.
I ordered an olive burger, add jalapeños with fries on special. Complete honesty,
it was one of the best burgers I've had.
The aioli especially was well made and the meat was juicy on buttery buns.

One miss Julie also gave me excellent service. Her bright and warm personality really enhanced my nice afternoon grabbing some food outdoors, amongst the blooming flowers.
I definitely recommend stopping in.

Friendly & welcoming place, salad was good and a great price.

But, I am mainly writing this review because I swear that Jefferson White ("Jimmy" from Yellowstone) is secretly working in the kitchen to prepare for an acting role. The likeness is uncanny.

Great waitress..good food

The best chicken noodle soup I've ever tasted. It was as if the ingredients were just fresh picked from a garden. What an amazing bowl of soup, and the comforting grilled cheese sandwich that went along with. Love my friend Amy for taking care of me... Always!

Heard a lot about this tiny bar that had an outdoor rear patio everybody said the food was phenomenal the Staffing was incredible and it's a good time and they said for two equally established restaurants next to each other / bar grills to be that close was incredible that the way that they interact with each other plenty of room for everybody good time great place to go great food will definitely be back there

A quick lunch stop on our way to the west side of the state. Good food, good service. 👍🏻

The food is so good, especially the tacos.

Amy was so wonderful. She let us take over her big tv to stream the Charlotte HS swim league meet. Food and drinks are always really good.
