Bartender friendly and helpful. Although Google shows them as a good place to eat, they do not serve food.

Oh!!! This is the crescendo of a night in the downtown district of Springfield. This is where the night will end after all the other bars close. Definitely a young crowd but was a ball and absolute ball to experience.

Great food, large beer garden with a deck. Blues on Monday and Thursday. Service is spot on , always good for a relaxing drink after work or late night shenanigans.

Always a great Downtown staple! Enjoyed the spicy Bloody Mary's on the specially opened Sunday. Blue Mondays are amazing for a city this size!

Alamo is thee anchor when it comes to finding a place to have fun in the Downtown area. As bars have come and gone to Downtown, it's only fitting the Alamo still stands!) Born and raised in Springfield IL, the owner understands it's nice to have an establishment for no-nonsense good drinks and drink specials that you can look forward too. The Alamo’s uniqueness is it’s large beer garden which is unmatched in the downtown Old State Capitol area. You will find patrons that range from Governors, Mayors to your local part-time server and starving-artist and demographics everywhere in between. Alamo is a spacious fun unstuffy place to grab a beer and enjoy your fave tunes on the jukebox... Yep, when they don't have any live entertainment of blues, jazz or other genres, you can still find some good tunes on their wall :)

Blue Monday is awzum! They always have great bands and the drinks are cheap. Only a $5 cover charge.

The bartenders are always quick and attentive even when extremely busy.

Monday Blues are a favourite and the weekend get packed by around 12ish. Always something going on and the service staff is great and courteous.
