Harbaugh's Cafe

Loved the lively, eclectic, artsy atmosphere. Every server was extremely friendly. We got a front booth seat and it was perfect. I got biscuits and gravy, and everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. My son absolutely loved their bread, and he got a yummy veggie omelette. They give you your own pot of coffee, too, and they offer a different flavor from regular (french vanilla was really good). I don’t know the next time I will make it to Carbondale, but definitely check this place out if you’re in the area.

Just popped in for coffee with my husband. Everyone was a joy to interact with. Love the vibes, and the employees are so great with such bubbly personalities!

Absolutely love this place. Great food and great service. I really enjoyed the eclectic art feel of the place. And everything is well prepared and the hand crafted coffees are amazing!

5/7/24 excellent little hole in the wall type of restaurant. I had the Mexican omelette, which had the perfect amount of chorizo, and everything else. The salsa had a nice little zing to it without being too zingy.
I would definitely eat here again.

Our breakfast experience was fantastic with friendly faces and fantastic food! The egg-stra large pancake is the best as part of The Flapper meal!

Found this great breakfast cafe Monday morning after a terrible nights sleep at nearby hotel due to loud trains and trucks running all night. We needed a good breakfast but we slept in a bit late and just missed the hotel breakfast buffet that closed at 9! Then discovered that all the other nearby breakfast joints were closed on Mondays! Almost gave up on a decent breakfast and stumbled on Harbaugh’s a very unassuming looking place from the outside in a dead retail zone on a Monday morning. What a great find! Lively inside, with friendly staff and great tasting breakfast! Thank you for being there when we needed you most and had almost lost hope!

Such an efficient and friendly waitress. Food was really good & prices are reasonable. Coffee is Good (Per lunch friend). Fast service. Will return & try other menu items.

Anytime I’m in Carbondale this is the place for breakfast. The food is good and filling. I love the atmosphere and how each table has different unique coffee mugs! I will say it is fairly busy if you go during rush hour periods but I will say the staff handles it pretty well.

The last time I was in town a family of 5 entered and tried to be seated before two family’s of 5 that had been waiting well before them; the staff member handled this situation very professionally even though the (confused) customer left. He kept the waiting “line” honest and did his best to explain the situation during the morning rush and I respect that!

Been going there for 20+ years. I've been all over the world and the prices, eclectic atmosphere and staff make this one of the best breakfast places I've been to.

Awesome breakfast today. Had Eggs Benedict and a side of biscuits and gravy. Both were excellent. Service was excellent as well! Another plus in that they are now taking cards instead of cash only.

Omg ! I’m visiting from Memphis, TN. The food is delicious and fast service. The customer service is great 👍 Also, affordable and the amount of food matches up to the price! I’ll definitely stop by again.

The server was Mike he is awesome. They were very busy the line was out the door. Corned Beef hash is amazing , and the French tst is delicious

I have never had a bad experience at Harbaugh's. The argument could easily be made that Harbaugh's Cafe is the best place to get breakfast in Carbondale.

The food reminds me of home cooked meals I would eat at Bed and Breakfast's while on family vacations when I was younger.

You cannot go wrong with Harbaugh's Cafe.

Harbaugh's has been my favorite Carbondale spot for the past 6 years. This weekend was the last opportunity I had to come here since we moved away, but this place is filled with amazing food, staff, and atmosphere. This may be the only thing I miss about Carbondale

I recently found myself hungry in Carbondale while traveling during breakfast time. I found Harbaugh's Cafe after Googling "best local breakfast." The internet wasn't wrong! Harbaugh's has an eclectic, artistic vibe but without any pretense. The staff was friendly, the menu had many options, the service was remarkably fast and the food they brought set the tone for a great day.

The food was killer. The vibe was very cool. I had the Huevos rancheros and a side of pancakes. OMG the pancakes! So good.

Awesome homemade tasting breakfast. Waitress was superb! 👍
