When you THINK you are at this winery and see the General Store..keep driving. Follow the signs to the TASTING ROOM/ restaurant. It's like coming up on a wine lodge in the middle of a field. After 2 days of doing the southern IL wine trail this menu beats ALL OTHERS. Best charcuterie board and best pizza. Great rosé and service as well!!

I recently attended my nieces wedding at this. Enue. It's amazing and has lots of character. The rabbit hole entrance is neat. They held the ceremony in the old underground wine vault. Super cool. Food and drink services were great. Recommend you go, if nothing else but to look. Very beautiful when you drive up.

Spanky Entertainment Dueling Pianos had the pleasure of performing for a New Year's Eve wedding reception at Walker's Bluff over the weekend, and as a vendor, everything was perfect! The on-site event coordinator, Kelsey, was fabulous and made sure that we were taken care of and well-informed all evening. Gorgeous and unique venue and friendly and helpful staff!

Thank you for the opportunity to hold the year-end banquet for our American Inns of Court! The venue was perfect, and we are so grateful for your assistance in helping us schedule this despite the recent circumstances. If a Supreme Court Justice enjoyed his time here, you will too!

My husband and I come for comedy night once a month and it is a beautiful place. The restaurant is excellent as well. The pizza is homemade and delicious. The wings and cheese curds are great too. I also had a margarita which was wonderful but too small for my taste. However, the servers are fantastic. I didn't have an empty glass all night. A little pricey but worth it.
The comedy nights also promote some very funny (and rather inappropriate) comics.

I would definitely recommend this one. Although I cant say much for the wine- I'm not much of a wine person. (Give me a Jim Beam and Pepsi- that's more of my speed.) Anyway, comedy night is the fourth friday of the month. Come have a good time.

Walker’s Bluff was the first winery I visited after moving to Southern Illinois from San Diego, California. It was around Christmas time and the tasting room was beautifully decorated. I loved the rustic feel. I thought the food choices a bit more appropriate for a bar than a winery, but everything tasted great! Their wine is amazing! The staff was so friendly and gave great recommendations regarding the area when they heard we were new to town. The wedding area is so amazing I wish I knew more engaged couples to recommend it to! If you are in Southern Illinois and love wine, you must come here!

Took the family there for Sunday brunch a few weeks ago. Sat on the patio and ordered from the brunch menu instead of the fried chicken family style meal. My wife had an omelette and I had the filet. I am still thinking about how amazing the filet was! The kids loved the pancakes and the service was great! Highly recommend Legends and also recommend opting for the regular menu.

I had the 14 ox Ribeye with sweet potato fries salad and I sweet tea. Absolutely perfect everything. Staff, cooks, servers , managers, and even the dishwasher were all so nice. I wish people would stop giving walkers bluff a hard time. They were excellent

Had a great time at a wedding last night. Our bartender, Mariah was amazing. Very friendly, professal and really knows her job!! My drinks were on par! Very pleased with the service. We will be back.

I had my dream wedding at Walkers Bluff! The florist Jonathan is amazing and Kelcey Keith the coordinator is great to work with! My guests were awestruck by the beautiful wine cave and the food was very good! Truly a fun and memorable experience provided by the staff! I highly recommend it!!

I had my wedding at Walker's Bluff just a few weeks ago and I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful venue and amazing staff. Throughout the whole process Kelcey and Stephanie were amazing with communication and meetings, answering all of my questions quickly and helping me plan. They took care of literally every detail. The day before my wedding I dropped off a bin of decorations and supplies and they completely handled all set up and take down without needing direction or guidance. They truly can create a gorgeous wedding and they think of everything. The food was exceptional. We had a complimentary tasting beforehand and they were so accommodating and ensured that we really got exactly what we wanted. Our cake was gorgeous and looked exactly like the picture we gave. The day of the wedding Stephanie took charge and allowed me to truly enjoy my day with my family. She handled all issues without assistance from me or my bridal party and kept us on track. She took gorgeous pictures and the Bridal Suite is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been in. During the reception, Stephanie coordinated with the DJ and made the evening go so smoothly, and also provided guidance to my photographer who at times was less than professional. My bridal party was running a bit late to head to the ceremony so Stephanie sent us off in the limo and she packed all of our things from the bridal suite and cleaned and then packed all of our cars with our belongings while my family and I enjoyed the reception. I honestly could not have had a more beautiful wedding or a more positive experience with this venue. I recommend it for any occasion. When I called to inquire about their wedding package Kelcey called me back almost immediately and it was so nice to have her guide me through this process, she is an EXCEPTIONAL and very professional event planner. They truly know what they are doing. I will also say that our final bill was not a penny over the quoted price and they provided a few things I forgot like the cake cutting tools for me at no charge. They were warm and accommodating to all of my guests, even ones who were maybe a bit rowdy towards the end of the night. Overall they made me feel welcome and thankful for my business and I feel like I got an amazing value for my cost. They will make you feel like family at WB, go book your wedding there right now!!!

I have been to Walker’s Bluff countless times. From weddings, to events, date nights, music venues & just to have a great cocktail, glass of wine or dinner. Walker’s Bluff is a great asset to our food & entertainment community. The staff (especially Kelcey Keith) are always friendly & accommodating. I look forward to attending & hosting many more events there!

On August 21st, 2017 at 1:20 pm Ozzy rocked Walker's Bluff, opening up the onset of a total solar eclipse with "Bark at the Moon". As part of his reunion tour with Zakk Wylde, this band of hard rock n' metal gods put on an incredible show including hits like "No More Tears", "Paranoid", "Crazy Train", "Mama, I'm Coming Home", "War Pigs", "Shot in the Dark" and more. Walker's Bluff General Store did an unsurpassed job of displaying Ozzys new wine, "Solar Red". The nostalgic store offers everything from really cool jewelry to wine hosting supplies to picnic delicacies. The tables are right outside and there is a beautiful pond and a splendid weeping willow tree right at the waters' edge. They also have a large selection of mason jar canned goods, signature wines and hard liquor, gorgeous home decor items, and more. A filling station is conveniently on the premises as well should your tank be low on fuel. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The ambiance is casually primitive yet exquisite. . . and remember, with Halloween sneaking up around the corner, maybe it's time to check out the new Ozzy Solar Red and "Hail to the Ozzfather"... Walker's Bluff Style!

I took my wife here for her birthday dinner and she loved it. The staff were very friendly and the views were amazing. It was definitely worth the drive and I hope to go back soon.

A little expensive but very cozy. Soup, sandwiches, fountain drinks, wine by the bottle. Also misc. trinkets and gifts available for purchase. Very nice. Also gasoline available for purchase but price is usually higher than your average quick stop.

A nice breakfast sandwich. Egg cheese bacon on croissant. And coffee. $6.50. You can't beat this price forward quick breakfast.

One of the most elaborate wineries in Southern Illinois, Walker's Bluff is a beautiful place to go wine tasting. I cannot speak for the food, but the wine was great!

Had the best Christmas party ever at the tasting room and Legends. Great food and a wonderful staff. Would make the drive again for the food and wine we had today!

The first time I was there just after opening with a couple & could not have been better service & food.
The second time was the same service & food.
The next time I took a party of 11 people & again the food & service was excellent.
I have eat in 4 or 5 5 star resturants and Legand's is one of the best.

they have the best busboys in town. if you want the full on experience, just wait for your table to get dirty or need more bread. 5 star experience in the most minute of services. *****
