I’m always looking for a review that actually tells you something. Not just, food was good! Polite staff… you know what I mean…. So, here we go.

We were greeted when we walked in the door! Wow! Friendly and very attentive staff. They have a good selection of beer on tap including IPA’s. Nice and cold in a chilled true pint. Bravo! We ordered the “All you can eat shrimp” and Tenderloin. The shrimp is butterflied and nicely breaded. Comes with fries and coleslaw. I try to stay away from fried food, but I was pleasantly surprised. Not greasy at all. The shrimp was perfect. Flavor, texture and presentation. They serve in tin pie plates, which I found as a nice change from the typical plastic baskets with a paper liner beneath. My husband ordered the tenderloin. In his opinion, the best he’s had anywhere (with the exception of my own hand breaded pork loin)… The service was exceptional. Skylar was prompt in seeing that our drinks were filled and the shrimp kept a coming. We left, comfortably full. And not to forget…Karaoke every other Friday with Mike! And he starts up at 7pm. We will definitely go back. Odie’s is easy to find and only about 10-15 minutes from Cedar Rapids.

Great hot wings! I had the traditional buffalo. Their ranch is really good, too! Tastes homemade! Fair prices and friendly service. :)

Good food and drink menu. Excellent service and outside seating. Especially caters to bikers with nice bike trai nearby.

Great place to spend a Saturday afternoon. Staff is so friendly and food is great. We had Saturday special 4 pc chix dinner - $9!! Comes with 2 sides and Texas toast. Tender, juicy delicious!!

This place is awesome!! Took my kids here for lunch. Between the free popcorn, the TVs and the coloring books my kids were in heaven. The service is awesome. Our server gave us tips on the bike trail and the food was excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant if you're ever in Ely.

Myself and a friend came in to check out this place!! SUPER impressed by the quality of the food and the service that was provided! The All you can eat shrimp.. You just can't beat it!! We also had a chance to meet the owner!! Absolutely awesome guy who took great care of us!! Looking forward to next time!! 😁

Great family setting. My boys love to come play with the toys, have a root beer and watch the cubs. The works pizza is amazing and the wait staff is always friendly!! We are definitely coming back

We started going to Odies after our go to local restaurant closed due to a fire. It’s been almost 2 years and we haven’t went back to the other restaurant even when it reopened. Even though it’s not as close, we love Odies food and staff. They are excellent! We brought relatives from Florida here and they came back here with other family members the next day! It’s great food, great service and not your usual bar food. We come typically about every other weekend. We love it here!

So to start I ordered the B&B Burger. One of the best burgers I've ever had. LOVED it. To be clear the burger was amazing. I also a Kraft beer. It was described to me as a citrus beer. The beer itself was great but it tasted like grapefruit. I didnt like it, but if I liked grapefruit at all I'd of loved it I'm sure. I also got to try their wings. They were standard, good. Nothing to be excited about.

The service was amazing and the staff was super friendly. Not only did they replace my beer with one I knew I liked but they didnt charge me for it. They got my buddy's wrap wrong, there was no friction at all not only did they replace his wrap but his whole dish which was unnecessary but really cool that they did that. Not a very diverse area, regaurdless We are definitely coming back.

Went for the all you can eat broasted chicken, it came with fries and fresh coleslaw made very simple. I was actually surprised by how big it was inside. The food was served family style. The service was good. They also have homemade cheesecake. Overall, I was very impressed with experience, and I would recommend anyone to go check them out. Well worth the drive.

I love this place! I meet with a group of friends from three towns around the area, while this isn't exactly the central place, it's pretty close and we've enjoyed their food a number of times over the years. Always good service always good food with plenty of refills, a team effort from the kitchen and wait staff. They have a beer garden and seating out front as well, it's just a nice comfortable place. We try for the most part to avoid the popular times, but there's never too much insanity going on in there and we can have a nice conversation/reunion.

Wonderful little place. Diverse crowd but very friendly atmosphere. Eat inside/outside on the covered deck or at the picnic tables In the large lawn past the deck. Bean bag game free to play. Several ipa's on tap or your favorite bottled or can beer. I had Ruthie's tap. Very good. Service is great too!

Stopped for bloody and a beer , which the bloody was
extremely good, so didn't eat , but place is great will be back

Our group went on a Wednesday and had the 4 piece broasted chicken meal.
The chicken was moist and flavorful. Coleslaw was fresh and tasty. Fries were bland, nothing a bit of salt could not fix.
Servers were attentive and friendly.

We visited Odies for the night of all you can eat shrimp. Meal was excellent and so was the experience. Staff was friendly and courteous. Are going back again this week.

Service was outstanding and the food was fabulous...if time had allowed, we could have stayed there all evening. Highly recommend!

Great breakfast burger - and our Waiter was super nice. Will be back.

Can't go wrong with all the shrimp you can eat 😋 dinner!
