Riverview Campground

Beautiful place!! They really make us feel welcome. Very nice people and environment.

Beautiful location, very clean, extra helpful and friendly owners.
We've been here four times for a few days each year and like it more every time. It's casual, laid back, family friendly, very quiet. The owners also very graciously host the annual Alabama UkeFest, making dozens of ukulele players very happy, and it's great fun for all of us who love homemade music.

The owner was a wonderful woman who was lovely to meet and made sure we were sorted, comfortable and happy!

Lake is gorgeous.
Dog walking area (off leash) isn't fenced but there is a big field to run them or play fetch. Right on the lake. I couldn't get my boys out of it!

We have been coming here for about 6 years.
I have camped in hundreds of campgrounds, through the years. Riverview is by far our most favorite campground!!!

They're already talking about getting a permanent spot next year....

The campers here are very respectful of the children playing and riding their bikes in the road...

This is my second time coming here and it’s always a great time. You have beautiful views of the lake and are right on the water! We had a bit of a mixup this time, but the management took care of it, and were quick to fix the issue. I definitely would highly recommend this RV campground

We came in just before a storm rolled through, the owners were very kind showing us around. The facilities were very clean especially considering for the amount of people. Lots of dogs and kids, very friendly families.
It's a mom and pop kind of place, if you need to get a hold of the office for something I'd just call. We only stayed a night before pushing on, but they took us on a tour of their new cabin in construction or you can canoe out to the island for some tent camping.

Love, love, love Riverview Campground and it's owner Denise. Such a beautiful campground, full of trees, by the water, with the kindest people. Quickly becoming one of my favorite places to camp. Denise is helpful and so kind. I can't thank them enough for a great family vacation this past week.

Decided to bring the RV here for the season...found a great spot near the boat launch.
Denise, the proprietor is informative and friendly.
From what I hear, there will be many activities for all ages to enjoy..even a band!
Boat slips too..
Great location..a hop and skip to town and local good eats..
Can't wait for the season to start..come on spring!

We made last minute reservations for a tent site anticipating an 8pm eta from Ohio to campground. Due to unforeseen family matters needing addressed prior to our departure our eta moved up to 1130pm. The owner had forwarded Phil’s ( the maintenance man) number to us to keep him posted on our arrival. We were prepared to push our arrival up to the next day so as not to inconvenience anyone and Phil insisted he’d be waiting on us and “to come on in”. Our site was right on the lake and Phil hooked us up w/ more firewood!! The lake is beautiful, the campground despite being packed was quiet, clean and an all around pleasant place to be. The showers are hot and the bathrooms very clean. Fishing is phenomenal. 24 hour gas station 5 min away and most conveniences within 20 min. Highly recommend and we look forward to a return visit!

Well it's a camp ground so can't say anything about the rooms or service but it is a great place to bring the family and campers it is gated if you have a boat you have plenty of places to dock your boat

Found this gem of a campground while on a bicycle tour. The park is incredibly well maintained and the facilities, even given the amount of people there, were clean. The lake is spectacular and the sites are very well shaded. The owners and staff were friendly and very helpful. I hope to visit again at some point. Would recommend this place to anyone. Thanks guys!

Come down from Nashville to fish tournaments. Always use a tent and the staff is so friendly. Usually get in here late but that has never been a problem, they will wait. Bath houses are always clean and the people around you are very friendly, have eaten with a couple before.

We cannot wait to go back ! Our campsite was perfect! Right on the water! The owners were amazing and genuinely love their campground and truly care for those staying there ♥♥♥. As others have said...They checked us in late at night and brought McDonald's during a rain storm! Thank you!!

Everyone is so accommodating and it is the most beautiful place on the lake. The owners, Craig and Denise Cornwell, have a hands on approach that makes Riverview the best place to stay on the lake.

We first came here last summer and it's just a awesome place family friendly people are just wonderful and the owner makes sure you are happy and not wanting for anything we are back again this year and will continue to come back prices are very reasonable this place tries There hardest to make sure you are having fun and are enjoying your time camping a big thank you for your dedication from the detzler and tendon families god bless you all

This park was amazing! The owner Miss Denise and her staff does everything to make your stay wonderful. Very reasonable price, bath house is always clean. Lots of things to do on the weekend and peaceful during the week.

Always always ALWAYS amazing! The owner and her team are outstanding in every way possible. Grounds are well kept and beautiful. Honestly it is my favorite place on earth. Have been camping there for decades!

We were bit concern how the place might be. But once we arrive and took the tour we realized we would have missed such a nice experience if it was skipped. Kids had fun and adventure too...
