We had the best time and experience. When we got there, we had to raise our camper so high, our front stabilizers wouldn’t touch the ground. The manager graciously gave us two blocks to put under them, so we wouldn’t have to go buy anything. We then went to hook up our water, but there was something wrong, and the manager immediately came to fix it.
The women in the office were so friendly and helpful. Everyone who worked there were all so kind and always had a smile on their face. We can’t wait to go back!

We spent the weekend tent camping, and we had a great time. The campground was clean, organized, and very accommodating. The staff we interacted with, Sean and his wife Kris were so helpful and friendly. I do recommend the staff check the hot water in the men's shower closest campsite #79. It was ice cold the entire time we were there. We will be returning soon for another stay.

I really enjoyed my stay! It wasn't too crowded and even though there seemed to be a couple of groups there, it was very quiet and relaxing! The camp hosts were very friendly and accommodating, I do not recall the name of one of the gentlemen who assisted me and a lady working with him, I am going to give a shout out to Tanna who was wonderful to work with and definitely helped me with an issue I could not have done by myself! I would recommend installing pet stations! Thank you!

Nice campground! The bathhouses were a little outdated but were kept clean! We were there during the off season so there wasn’t a lot of staff which is anywhere you go during the off season. Sites were very nice and clean from what I saw! Had a great time and will definitely be back!

We camped with our RV and had a waterfront lot. It was an incredible Easter weekend. Rented a boat slip and hardly anyone was on the water so felt like we had the lake to ourselves. The honey wagon is always helpful when you don't have sewer. We will be back a lot this season.

Very clean! Camp hosts were amazing! They blew leaves & pine straw like crazy! Shower facilities were as clean as possible. A little outdated, but EVERYTHING else was superior. The laundry room was older but worked great & washed/dried perfect! We will DEFINITELY be back! Our family will love the swim area & the boat slips. The spots are perfectly sized & spread out just perfect!

We booked this site 10 months ago to camp with a bunch of friends. We had never been but they had. I was thrilled the site was as beautiful as they described. I had two different days I needed to call and cancel and both times I called it was quick and easy to make the adjustment. Since we stayed less than 48 hours, not having sewer was not an issue for us. We only had to wait for one other person to dump on the way out and it didn’t take long at all. I loved being right on the water and the spaces were large and had great picnic tables and for pits. We had a great time!

My family and I spent the weekend at HoneyComb for my parents anniversary. We rented a camp site. Very nice location. Late check in was easy, no problems. The bath houses were fairly nice. Beach area was within walking distance and the boat docks were perfect for putting in our kayaks. We will most likely stay here again, next year.

We are very pleased with our stay! This is our 2nd time to stay! The locaction is beautiful and lots of amenities and things to do! My son loves the playground and beach area! We also rented a pontoon boat both times. The boats are excellent quality for a reasonable rental fee! The staff is very helpful and friendly!

Home away from home. This was our first time camping at Honeycomb and after staying for a week (5 days/4 nights) we hope to plan many more stays. The scenery was gorgeous, the campground clean, well maintained and everyone there was so nice. We pull a 19’ Coleman camper and it was very easy to back into our site and since the pad was already so level, it took minimal effort on our part to level out our camper. We had a beautiful spot right on the waters edge, we woke to warm and bright sunrises as well as enjoyed beautiful sunsets over the lake with the many many frogs providing a lovely Summers Serenade. I typically use the campground’s shower/restroom facilities and I was pleased to see they were kept very clean and supplied. Being able to purchase ice after hours at the campground store was very convenient, we would have purchased firewood this way as well but the July temps didn’t really encourage a campfire. I did cook our dinners using the fire ring and grill which were also clean and well maintained. While we were there, we hiked the TVA Honeycomb Trail which begins directly outside the campground entrance. We made a couple wrong turns (my land-Nav skills are rusty) we hiked 12 miles and didn’t actually make it to the Dam..again, my fault. Nevertheless, we still crave the fresh water from the spring we happened upon! We spent a lot of time swimming at the beach and we had a great time, the fish were very sociable and entertaining! There was a lot of grass floating on top of the water but from what I’m told by others who camp at Honeycomb frequently, that is not common, I get it though, it’s a lake! The docks were well kept and we enjoyed walking on them and they make for beautiful photo ops! Making reservations was an easy process, I made ours online and we didn’t run into any snags. We were at site 82 which was beautiful but there are some other sites that we hope to try out as well.
Thank you Honeycomb for making our trip a memorable one!!

Some friends and I drove over from Huntsville to do a 4 hour rental of a pontoon boat. This place was awesome in that it was EASY. We called, they answered, we scheduled a boat for the same day. We arrived at the gate, they directed us where to go and parking was included in the cost of the boat rental. We went do to the dock they did an orientation with us and we were on our way! We had a blast drove the boat over to city harbor for lunch and spent the rest of joy ride all over the lake. When we got back they refueled the boat, charged us for our gas and we were on our way. I can not wait to go back and next time plan to rent a cabin and make a weekend of it.

Well run and maintained campground. Only problem was the shorelines were over run with EEL Grass preventing us from putting our Kayak into the water. Just a wonderful peaceful place.

My husband and I saw first hand how great the staff, hosts, and guests are at this campground. My husband had lost the keys to our motorhome while swimming in the beach area. After searching everywhere he told the guests he had lost his keys (probably in the water). The guests immediately started searching. I called the office and reported the keys lost along with our information. The camp host went out of his way to try to help us. He gave me the number for Superior RV and they sent people to try their keys to get in. We left the campground the next day thinking we would have to purchase all new keys. An hour after arriving home I receive a call from a staff member in the office at Honeycomb. She kept my name and number. A little boy had found our keys in the lake. We immediately drove an hour back to Honeycomb to get the keys. We appreciate all they did for us and we'll return soon.

This was our first time to stay at this park, and it could not have been better in terms of service. The management and staff went far past what is normally considered as good. The park itself is beautiful on the TVA and equipped to see that everyone remains comfortable. Several mishaps of our own doing were promptly addressed and resolved with little-to-none pain and anguish. Thank you.

Beautiful location, relaxed atmosphere on a holiday weekend, clean facilities and easy access. Close to a grocery store in case you forget anything. Will definitely be returning.

We like to rent the pontoon boats with our neighbors for a whole day of fun and fishing. It’s really wonderful to be able to enjoy fishing and go to a local restaurant on “our boat” without the real costs of owning and maintaining a boat! Honeycomb staff makes everything about renting a fantastic, highly recommended experience. We rented campers last year and that was a fabulous time, too! If you don’t own, I highly recommend RENTING at Honeycomb Campgrounds for ALL of your camping AND boating needs!
