Gad Dam Brewing, LLC (GDB)

Stopped while on a road trip and just had to stop/ not only is the name catchy, but the patrons and staff are so kind and welcoming. The space itself is large and they also have outdoor seating with fire pits and outdoor activities. It was chilly and early on a Friday when coming through. Not only do they have beer, but they also have a great coffee bar. With just a couple minutes off of 19- it’s worth the stop and stretching your legs.

This place is a little gem! We went on a Saturday afternoon for beers and snacks. They offer a good selection of beers. We had the pepperoni rolls and cheese dip with tortilla chips. Both were really good. The staff were all so nice and a pleasure to deal with! Great space inside and outside to hang out. They allow dogs outside.

Really amazing building and the coffee was awesome! For now they just have guest taps, cant wait for them to brew their own! Still worth a trip.

July 2023 Update: they now have their own beers on tap (limited selection) and still plenty of guest taps.

Different events happen each evening. This place is a ton of fun, good for Summersville. Great service. I'll be back every chance I get!

Stopped in while backpacking thru town. Had live music that night. Enjoyed the music and a few beers. The staff was friendly and quick. Be sure to stop in and check this place out. Also has cool decor inside.

Love Love Love this place! Fabulous coffee. So many flavors to choose from. They even have coffee ice cubes, so your iced coffee doesn't get watered down. Lots of daily activities. Highly recommend!!!

Stopped on a road trip through the area. The staff were very friendly. Coffee was great and even though we got it to-go, the atmosphere seemed great!

We dropped by on a Thursday afternoon. It was quiet, but we had a great time chatting with the owner. The tap list was pretty diverse, and the beers they actually brew themselves all great.

What a great spot. My sister had been following on Facebook and we were up so we stopped in because they were making fresh pretzels. What a cool spot. Building is really nice. Service was spot on. Had a local nut brown. Fantastic. Highly recommend

I stopped here on my way north to grab an americano before I hit the road. The owner was friendly and the local roasted coffee was great. I was able to sit on their back porch and enjoy the morning before getting back on the road, I will definitely be back the next time I come through.

Great outdoor porch, beer is good and wet. Just how I like it. Had a guy outside making pulled pork/Mexican food. They were excellent

So my experience was one of sitting at the bar perspective. Wonderful, personable and quite humorous and witty female bartenders. Enjoyed every bit of my experience there. Nested back in off side of the road and has this warm cabinesque feel with industrial elements. People around me ordered food and devoured it. I appreciated being able to taste different craft beer before committing to a full pint. I would highly recommend this little nook for anyone looking for a cozy good time.

Love this place! From the owners to the bartenders to the patrons. This place was 5 stars all the way around. Compared to any other bar in the area, you feel welcome and appreciated here and that’s worth everything!

Everyone was incredibly sweet, and they served the best coffee I've had in a long time. My husband got one of their smoothies and loved it! I'm so glad our friend brought us here- we wish we had something like this near us!

This was a very nice place that we stopped to have a cold drink while participating in the WV Hellbender Hootenanny! It was extremely clean and the bartenders were very friendly! Would definitely go back if we were in the area again.

Amazing food and great atmosphere! The hotdogs and bbq were delightful. The air is full of delicious coffee as well. Will definitely be returning.

Oh this was lovely after driving all night and sleeping in the car. Got a delicious low calorie caramel cheesecake iced coffee and a cute hoody with their chubby beaver mascot/logo on it. It's a nice big place with a backyard area, a balcony area, plenty of parking and a spacious inside area that is very clean and cozy. I will be visiting again. Plus, the people that are currently running it were very nice and made sure our drinks turned out delicious.
