My wife and I love exploring nature trails and old structures. The Red mill was very cool, and has some beautiful scenery. As others have mentioned in the reviews, there is a trail to get down to the stream and plenty of areas to walk over rocks to get up close to the lower area of the mill. There is an area to swim as well. The only disappointment about this is the insane amount of trash and graffiti, but it’s still worth the trip to visit.

Fishing and swimming friendly! Great spot to visit after a few days of rainfall. Be very careful towards the falls as it's very slippery. The Mill itself is the landmark but below it is a swimming hole and fishing spot.

The Red Mill isn't far from Lake Guntersville and is a really neat place to visit and either swim/fish or take pictures. It's got a few waterfalls that aren't very big but once the water flows some they are all scenic to take pictures of.

TONS of trash in certain places, so please try and bring a trash bag if you come and help contribute towards reviving this beautiful spot.

My husband and I have been wanting to check this place out since we moved up to Alabama. The mill itself looks so neat just barely hanging onto the side of the hill and the views of the water and waterfall below it are just absolutely gorgeous!! There's a little trail that you can walk that leads down to the rocks of the Fall if you'd like to get a closer look. We were definitely not disappointed by how gorgeous this place was.

An amazing place to swim. Some trash but not too much. Wish the town would restore the mill.

Beautifull little retreat. Disappointed that people would spray paint all over the landscape and leave trash. But if you go up the creek it isn't like that. We enjoyed ourselves.

My Great Grandfather (Tom Rice )built the original Mill at this location. He gave it to his daughter as a wedding gift.

Beautiful views of water. The closed bridge is somewhat of an eye sore but overall pretty to look at.
