Alabama Welcome Center - Lanett

Nice quiet rest area with clean restrooms. It even has somewhat of a natural area for you to walk your dog 🐕 from a long trip. A dump station for the RV crowd. There is a parking area for Semis RVs,Horse Trailers etc. plenty of places to sit outdoors for some fresh air. Vending machines. Even has smoking 🚬 area with disposal. Be a good place just to take some time off the road stretch your legs and walk a minute. Even has lighted picnic areas for the early morning risers or night owls.

Super clean, very well thought out design. Would definitely stop in again for the night. (Driver)

Plenty of parking for cars/trucks. Restrooms are clean. Picnic areas are spacious and quiet. Pet walking area with baggies. RV'ers, Sanitation Station on the way out. Be a Beacon of light so others can find their way. Safe and happy travels!

The sweetest people work here! They were so eager to answer our questions and help us find materials we were looking for! Such a delight! (Usually we are just looking for clean bathrooms. This center has that and more!) Find.dino liked it, too!

The Manager and staff at the Alabama Welcome Center are amazing!! I’ve never experienced anything like it. Smiling faces, great conversation, laughs, photos, stories and on and on. And to top it off the building is absolutely beautiful. State of the art! The bathrooms are immaculate!! Clean, clean, clean! The grounds are manicured with lots of nice areas to picnic. Wow!!!

This is one of the nicest rest stops that i have been to on my way to Texas. It huge, clean and just welcoming. Plenty of space for people to stretch, walk, or just take a break.
Amazingly clean restrooms and intact indoor area. Staff was friendly and they were working on Christmas eve. I loved stopping here and you will too.

Very neat and clean. The information center has a lot of helpful brochures about the different attractions in the state.

When me my mom and sister went down to Alabama for a two night vacation, we stopped at this welcome center for a bathroom break. I didn't feel like getting out the car but my mom and sister said it was really nice inside, had clean bathrooms, polished floors, as well as clean bathroom stalls. And I really liked the outside design of the building too. So this welcome center gets a five stars from me.

Absolutely beautiful new rest area. Very clean facility. It also has very friendly travel guides. They offered free Maps for the state of Alabama and Georgia. It has been close for two years but now it is open. Wonderful picnic areas, beautiful grass areas for fur babies! Such a nice place to stop and rest. So glad I was able to finally stop at his place again. Melinda was very sweet, cheerful and knowledgeable 😍

This stop is always clean and green. There were lots of people walking their dogs. The grass was green and nice. It has a dump station for RVs that can accommodate either side of your vehicle. Easy peasy.

This rest area/ welcome center is Ranked #1 in my book . Beautiful building . The grounds are Well maintained. Very spacious . Picnic areas . Clean . Watch your dogs I did see a few fire ant mounds .

VERY CLEAN! When you smell that fabuloso, a touch of Pine-Sol and a pinch of bleach! And it's DUST FREE, WOW! There was a gentleman sitting behind the desk he was very, very, very respectful due to someone having an asthma attack, Let's just say we need more individuals like him especially in an atmosphere as such. Thank you sir and be blessed!

The restrooms were very clean. The grounds were well maintained. The groundskeeper did assistant use by taking our group picture so no one would be left out. It was kind of him do that for us.

Friendly and helpful staff. Lots of brochures and travel guides available to take for information on all the great things to see and do. They even have coupon books full of lodging discounts to use on your visit. There are the normal snack and drink vending machines. The restrooms were spacious and clean. The outside area has lots of picnic tables and room to stretch your legs. Definitely one of the nicer rest area/Welcome Centers that I have been to.

While passing through Alabama, my fiance and I needed to make a pit stop for some fresh air & potty breaks (not to mention it was a beautiful day out)! So, we decided we'd try this rest area instead of a restaurant/gas station per usual. To our surprise, the grounds were well kept & and the facility was clean to include the bathrooms! The staff were very welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable! Security was present as well! Overall, we'd definitely recommend it to other travelers !!!

Stopped by midnight for restroom needed. Amazing place, so clear, fancy, huge and welcome by very warm and nice guy.

I like to do stop here because always restrooms clean and very polite the front desk staff.

Water always available to refill your water bottle.

Very informative center and warmly greeting from staffs in center, rest room is very clean. Relax and refresh at this stop ! As if there coffee is served, it would be awesome !
