Hyatt Regency Birmingham - The Wynfrey Hotel

We attended a party there, so we didn’t get a chance to stay in the rooms overnight. The staff was incredible! They were more than accommodating, especially all the staff at the entrance that are valet, and or assistants! Some of the nicest ones I’ve ever encountered❤! And this hotel enters right into the galleria mall, directly at the food court so that’s another special feature.

This is a convenient hotel in the middle of a mall and food and other activities around. The bed was comfortable and the room was nice. The hospitality was good and the staff was friendly. I stayed overnight on vacation, and I would recommend it again. The parking is expensive per night, 20-25$. The Customers' service was great. There are not many options for food on site. But a Whataburger is 24 hrs, literally 3-4 mins away.

Honestly only thing I didn’t like is, that they don’t inform on website or on your booking that you have to pay $20 for parking. And having that hotel right over the mall with free parking is kind of ridiculous. I mean, it’s not some big city with with not enough land supply. But, hotel was beautiful! Everyone very helpful!!!

Friendly and attentive staff, housekeeping was great, very responsive for requests, restaurant staff was friendly. Clean and well kept property. The hotels connection to the mall was a fun surprise, great shopping and the perimeter road for J Alexanders was great as well. 10 out of 10. Thanks!

All I have to say is hats off to Marie at the front desk. She is the true definition of a informationist and what Hyatt Regency stands for.. What a please it is checking in with her. She is the best and I do mean the BEST front desk agent I have encountered and should receive praise for excellent customer service. If it was not for her I would not have stated here.

On January 9,2024 I was in a room 529 it was a great maintenance guy who came an took care of us he was very nice an gave a great manners an personality we highly appreciate him for the service he gave given we are thank for Mr Cordera swift

I stayed 2 nights / 3 days for a conference for my job. Front Desk staff Josten and Long were so kind & professional. The rooms were wonderful, clean & comfortable. Each has a walk-in shower, and I loved how the bathroom mirror had a built in digital clock. I look forward to returning to this hotel. The Galleria Mall is conveniently connected.

Great hotel. We had a problem with our first room smelling like smoke and they changed us out of it quickly. Awesome staff and location.

Our family recently visited the Hyatt during our family reunion. The top ratings went to the valet's superb and upmost professionalism, speediness, politeness, and willingness to assist with transporting our belongings and parking! The valet staff set the tone for what good customer services entails. More importantly, an extra thank you to the staff Khalil, David, Anthony, and Eddie. Thank you all for all you do- much appreciated.

We loved our stay at the Hyatt! We were welcomed by everyone so kindly. When driving about we hit a pothole and returning to the valet, Charles and Victor pointed out our flat tire and immediately offered to change it! They were great and so awesome. My husband is blind and has a guide dog and upon check in the staff was very impressive. The only ding in our stay was the manager at Merks telling my husband pets aren’t allowed and he needed to see my husband’s papers. Overall, a great stay! Thank you Victor, Charles, and David at the bar!

I went there for my family reunion.
Excellent service. The room was spotless. There is a mall attached to the hotel. There is a Dave and Busters near by. The civil rights museum is near by. My family enjoyed our visit to Birmingham Alamba.

They Hyatt Regency Wynfrey Hotel is nice. It has been kept updated as time has progressed since its construction with the exception of the Exterior. Hopefully with the redevelopment of the Galleria and Patton Creek The Hyatt Regency Wynfrey Hotel will get an exterior facelift.

This hotel is very nice and in a great location. The bell staff is great. The men were always there willing to help. They were very polite and friendly. They get 5 stars.
The night desk person, CORRETTA, gets 0 stars. She was rude and spoke to us with a very nasty attitude and tone. After having a conversation with my adult daughters she told them “y’all can leave”. She argued with several of my family members when they tried talking to her. When I’m paying this much for a room I expect better customer service than someone tell me that I don’t have to be there. It was very upsetting.

Room was clean and front desk was very helpful after the individual who took our reservations messed them up.

Convenient to everything in Birmingham! Front Desk personnel have excellent customer service skills.

Staff particularly Cameron and valet crew top flight gentlemen. Pool perfect. Room comfortable and conference facility state of the art. A bit on the cold side but rather be cold than hot.

This was the best experience I've had so far. Staff amazing! Checked me in and I got delayed so they bought my breakfast upon my arrival. They made a horrible trip the best trip! Valet and bell hops all had the same amazing energy. Felt like visiting family, without the drama.
