Fat Johnny’s Comfort and Soul

We traveled to AL for a family vacation. My grandparents go to Fat Johnny’s every day for lunch. Obviously they had to bring us.
This restaurant is absolutely outstanding!
Different selections everyday give you something new to try every time. The waitress’ are so sweet. We loved getting to know them and became quite good friends. Although the old restaurant that was here we miss, Fat Johnny’s Comfort and Soul is an amazing place for you and you’re family.

I had seen Fat Johnny’s while riding through Columbiana and I made a mental note to come back and try it. Boy am I glad I did. The food is incredible and such a rare gem to find if you love good soul food. EVERYTHING on our plates was awesome. Don’t leave without grabbing the strawberry cobbler, the strawberries were so fresh! Johnny stopped by our table and chatted with us. It brought me joy to see someone take such pride in their small business. Thanks for the hospitality Johnny we greatly appreciated it!

Food is on point .. people who own it are amazing

Comfort and Soul!! Best place for lunch in Columbiana. They have options for everyone in your party. Everyone in my group loved what they ordered. Price point and portions are what you expect. I’ll be coming back for more!
