Can't say enough good things about my visit today. Gentlemen at the register was patient with my indecisiveness, as this was my first time, & suggested excellent recommendations. He was the beginning of multiple encounters with a staff that was just as kind as can be.
Food was AMAZING!!! Do Not skip the chow chow!! 😋 Everything was delicious, will definitely be back when in the area.

It had been awhile since we had been to Full Moon so we decided to try it again. I had the BBQ nachos and my husband had the Big Baker. Both were very good. We'll go back again soon!

The smell of smoke was really bad during allergy season, I don’t know why that was there but that was really the only bad thing. My food was amazing, literally to die for. Thank you so much Full Moon for serving me and my family! We enjoyed your amazing Cookies. You’ll never get better cookies. BBQ is still amazingly great so I’ll be coming back a lot!

Full Moon BBQ is always good, but this Alabaster location is the best of the best. Everything we ordered was fantastic: ribs, fried okra, pulled pork, macaroni & cheese, buffalo style tenders, and fries. It was all good. The tea was excellent, too.

I frequent this location for the vegetable plate. But this day, my order took quite a bit longer than usual. The manager took the time to come check on my mother & I, explained that they were short-handed, and made it a point to make us as comfortable as possible until our food arrived.

In a day and age when customer service seems to be a lost art, is was beyond refreshing to see this young man take the time to go above and beyond, even in the midst of all the hustle and bustle.

Full moon is my go-to BBQ. The chopped pork is piled so high that you need a fork to eat what spills from the sandwich. The sauce leans to that cane sugar, molasses sweet with just the right amount of heat/tanginess that complements.Traditional Southern sides are always hot and delivered to you quickly ( I've never waited very long at all) I skip the chow chow myself though others like it. Think Slaw on an onion based mustard kick/ this would definitely, if on a sandwich , lean it to the Zang some desire in BBQ. If ordering the smoked chicken, you get get 1/4 or 1/2 plates and are available white meat. Any pit produced meat can be ordered without sauce if preferred. The corn on the cob is a full ear. Oh, and desserts are worth a mention. I have personally tried both the keylime pie and carrot cake, the first with a richness topped in ample whipped cream and the last delicious( not over spiced) with plenty of peacans and cream cheese icing. Very moist and you may find you like it even if you aren't a carrot cake fan.They do have a coconut pie and famous moon cookies ,the size of your full hand.The interior is comfortable cool but by no means cold and the walls are wrapped in all things Alabama and Auburn Football. Tvs abound, but they aren't turned up . Mostly sports events or sports news ,primarily football, is shown. These are hung high upon the walls, so surprisingly, you can eat quietly and converse freely with a minimum noise heard only from other tables.

Ordered through the DoorDash app to pick up my order. Once I got there my order was ready. Food was awesome as always!

I normally get baby back ribs cause they're fall off the bone tender and fi ger licking good, got a burger this last time, my lord that was the best burger of my life.

We've enjoyed Full Moon for years & always remains a family favorite. Even with our large family orders, they are quick & courteous.

Our favorite Barbecue place. The barbecue baked potatoes are awesome.

Highly recommend Full Moon. I realize that it probably isn't for everyone but I really love their chow-chow. It is a perfect compliment for the BBQ. Have tried a few of the different items on the menu and cannot say anything negative about any item. The staff was helpful and friendly. Quantity for price is also excellent. Service was speedy. Great place. Highly recommend

I miss the old Johnny Ray's BBQ joints that were in and around the Birmingham area. This place is a very fine successor. The chicken is tender and full of smokey goodness. The pies are extra rich and creamy. The key lime is a favorite! I firmly believe this is a better flavor BBQ than Jim and Nick's.

Great BBQ and great customer service! There was an employee who was walking around the restaurant that was very polite and asked if we needed anything. She made sure to bring anything we needed to the table. The Chicken Baker is really good and you definitely can't go wrong with the classic pulled pork! The white sauce is great on turkey and chicken!

Full Moon BBQ never disappoints. The food and service was excellent as always.
