Applebee's Grill + Bar

Stopped in for a steak dinner while in the area for work. Service seemed slow despite having from what I counted 5 wait staff. Two people were waiting in the whole restaurant (6 people). I sat at the bar, food came out fast, tasty and exactly what I asked for. Wouldn’t have an issue eating here again.

Went and had a great dinner as it is normally, then had the double chocolate cake, which was delicious, moist, and warm, that was perfect with vanilla ice cream. Great food, staff, and a great place.
This place has been a frequent return place of mine, and as long as it is this nice, I will continue and be back!😋 👍👍🫠

For being a little exit off the highway in WV, my steak was cooked better than the steak I had the night before at longhorn. Server Tanya was wonderful and funny. Highly recommend

After a day on Summersville Lake , great place to relax , hot meal before drive home. Grilled Chicken sandwich and fries were on par.

Kellie was our server and the bartender. She was amazing. As busy as she was she kept up with our table like we were her only customers. Charlie the manager was amazing. He checked on every table in the restaurant a couple times which is very rare to see. They both were amazing. And the food was awesome.

I do not normally eat at Applebees anymore, but I was so glad I did. The staff was A+, the food was fresh and we enjoyed the people on the clock. What I really loved was seeing that manager get out and work the floor to help out his crew!!!!!! I will def go back!

While traveling my family and I stopped at Applebee's in Summerville WV. The restaurant was busy and the had 1 manager and one sever (Kelly) and two people in the kitchen and they handle it like pro's with smiles and fantastic attitudes. Everything was wonderful! We will be sure to stop again on our way back from vacation. Thank you all for a wonderful experience!!

We arrived around 10. The food wasn't impressive at all. Atmosphere although clean felt depressing.
William our server is definitely the only reason to go. He was fabulous and had us laughing the entire way meal.
If you go id suggest you ask for his section.
He electric and animated.
Brings energy i haven't experienced in a person while being polite and thoughtful.
Hes definitely under appreciated for what he does.
Experience him for yourself then tell me how right I was.

Best applebees we've been to. Waitress was friendly and service top notch! Quick, hot and tasty food. Can't wait to go back. Wish experiences at Liberty Plaza in Teays Valley were this good!

Might have a new cell one of the best meals I've ever had there

My friends and I were backpacking in the Cranberry Wilderness last weekend. We decided to hike out in the rain instead of camping Sunday night. We arrived in town and Applebees was still open. It was 10:25 PM and we knew they closed at 11:00 PM. We asked the young lady and man if it would be possible to get something to eat.
Without any hesitation they both said yes and to take a seat and he would get us some menus. She asked us if we wanted anything from the bar. And of course we did. She took our orders after getting us our drinks. The meal was cooked perfectly. And I can’t say enough about the staff.
They could have told us the grill was off for the night or really anything to convince us to leave. They were very welcoming to us and I would definitely visit the restaurant again if I’m ever in the area.
They made four wet, cold and tired backpackers feel right at home.
Kelly was her name. We never got the guys name. Their hospitality will not be forgotten.

Consistent cheeseburger and fries. Convenient. Supports local sports in schools.

They was short on wait staff but went above and beyond to take care of everyone. Very well done

We went late morning so it wasn't too busy, which was nice. Our lunch was great and our server Selena (I hope I spelled her name right) was really fantastic!

I ordered the bourbon chicken and shrimp which was very good, plus a long island iced tea. Always delicious and very reasonably priced. My fiance ordered a burger and the bacon was actually crispy. Don't you just hate it when you get a bacon burger and it's soggy or whatever?
Our server's name was Tony O., and he was awesome!
We occasionally stop in the area on our way back and forth to the southern states, and we will definitely be back.

I love the appetizers, plus a nice cool drink. The waitress is very friendly, and she comes back to check on you more than twice,that's a plus.

My husband and I went out for a long over due date night....A huge THANK YOU to the red head bartender who was super friendly, kind, funny and attentive. She was really wonderful! Drinks were awesome too!
