My husband and I are on our way to our Honeymoon and we needed a quick bite to eat. I found Mr. D's and the pictures looked really good. They DID NOT disappoint. I ordered the club house sandwich with fries and my husband got cheese fries and a chocolate shake (he actually ate lunch before we left so he didnt want much) everything was HOT &&& SOOOOO DELICIOUS! If i lived closer, I'd be there often!

great family owned business. You can always tell a business with great owners because the employees are people who have been there for years and they are happy. Great Service!!! this business not only serves but supports community by supporting community events. I highly recommend the Chicken Club Sandwich with Onion Rings!! one of my favorites. famous Blue Dew for a drink.

The food was great. The waitress was super nice and the prices were from 1975. A chicken sandwich, large fries and root-beer was $8.60

#5 Bacon Burger with a Strawberry Mountain Dew!

This was my go-to as a kid, and it still is to this day! We live in Phoenix now, but we come home to visit twice a year. This is always our fist stop!

It is also nice to see the same familiar faces, as well. Great staff!

Yeah so it is AMAZING. The onion rings are plentiful, crisp and a bit sweet. The burgers are hardy. The fries are Somehow crisp and soft at the same time. Blue Mt Dew; DO NOT miss that. But let’s get real the winner hands down for days is the Shortcake. It’s a big cup of ice cream with a shortcake on the bottom with strawberry sauce and a wisp of whipped cream. It isnt just ice cream, it’s a symphony. I ordered a second to take home.

Did I tell you the best part? It’s super affordable. That monster bag of onion rings is $2. The symphonic shortcake is $1. Seriously

Downside: All in the car. I’d like to sit out at a table and order all day.

I’ve never had a bad experience here, they are always super fast and very friendly! One of the best places in town in my opinion!

Very tasty little spot with lots of options. Think Sonic but Mom & Pop. We tried a burger, BLT, steak sandwich, fried pickles, mini tacos, two flavors of concrete, cheesy tots, and onion rings. It was great! Solid combo of well fried freezer food and quality quick eats. Looking for a break in the usual go to fast food? Highly recommend!

This is a very nice drive-in place to eat. The food us always good and service is too. And they have strawberry shortcake and ice cream all year round!! Same good food and prompt service!!

Great place to eat, sooo! much better than Sonic. Everything is made fresh to order, the Shakes are made with REAL icecream
(Unlike the mentioned above) and its Prairie Farms which is excellent. The food and drinks are always tasty, the service is fast and they are always courteous...

Nothing negative! Burgers are tasty, icecream is delicious and a lot more budget friendly than a certain DQ... Fried pickles are not the best I've had but they're good! Milkshakes always hit the spot.

Talk about bang for your buck!! First time eating here and I fell in love! I'm too used to restaurants having soggy onion rings or sandwiches that look like they were taken from the trash and served.

Mr. D's has none of that!! Crisp, served piping hot, and man the portions are perfection! Service is wonderful! I highly recommend this place for a casual, slice of life place to get an amazing bite to eat! Also, if you're getting a slushi, I'd recommendgetting a size smaller than what you're aiming for.

My friends and I are on a roadtrip and stopped to get some food and it was EXCELLENT! Super affordable, super fast, and super good food! We ordered food for 3 adults and a kid and with food and shakes it was less than $45! They also had every single item right (which is super nice on a roadtrip) and it was super fresh! I'd give 6 stars if I could! I would share photos but we ate it too fast!

Great little drive in that I never knew about. Food was good, lots of options, friendly staff and no mistakes on a big order! I was very impressed and will be back.

Have been coming here for years! Love, love, love the limeade! No one can beat the onion rings. I also love the strawberry shortcake. Great food at very reasonable prices. The service is quick and the servers friendly.

A real burger drive in with excellent food and fast service. Better than any chain. We go there every trip to Rend and that's at least 3 times a year. They are great and the prices are great too. It's 2023 and were there in July. It is still your best bet.

The staff is always friendly, the food is a good value and overall we love going there because it's a small town business that lives our community!
