One of the best calzones I've had. The dough was fantastic. Reminds me of places I grew up eating at in eastern kanawha county. Nothing fancy, just good food and good people.

The BBQ was fantastic. All the staff was friendly. And they have the best steaks around! Incredible views!

I have eaten here three times over the last four years, and each time has been great.
The food is very tasty, and the portions are very good. The ladies that work there are all super sweet and so accommodating. They take the time to make sure that you're happy with everything.
I can't wait to come back down and try the pizzas.

Lunch on top of the mountain, great food and good portion sizes! I recommend trying barbecue here!

I was recommended to check out this place by a friend. We were not really expecting a walk-up window and picnic tables, but it was just fine. My MIL and I each got the BBQ plates (I had pork and she had chicken), while her cousin had the trailrider nachos. The food was delicious! I highly recommend checking it out.

Bar none the best food I ate while on vacation here! The rest of the places were great, but this was fantastic!

Just stopped in for lunch off the trail had a full rack of ribs hand cut fries and potato salad.. recommend 💯.. !

I had been seeing posts from them for a few months now and couldn't wait to give it a try on my next riding trip. I made it a point to make it my first stop and man am I happy I did! I had the brisket plate which was plenty of food with the 2 sides. I also got to sample their new apple butter BBQ sauce and they knocked it out of the park with this one! Some of the best BBQ sauce I've ever tasted! Thanks again for having us and I will be returning.....maybe for lunch tomorrow!

Trail12 BBQ was amazing, great food after a long day of riding. Quick service, nice views and friendly staff. Order at the window and they bring the food out to you. Definitely try the pulled chicken, pulled pork, baked beans and spicy mac n cheese. Thank you Trail 12!!!

We came for a long weekend and ate our last meal at Trail 12. It was delicious! I had the King cut New York strip and my son had the rib eye. I wish we had eaten every meal at Trail 12, instead of just the last one. But, it rained alot, and outdoor dining in the rain is not easy to sell. The people are awesome and the steaks were one of the highlights of our 7 hour drive.

The food was very good. Also good portion size too. One may think it is expensive, by some of the reviews, but the quality of the food and portion sizes made it worth it.

Best Food In West Virginia. Three words, "Deep Fried Hotdogs"! Hand cut steaks every weekend cut up to 2" thick! If you're in the area don't miss out. Stop by for the best food in the area with an amazing view to top it off.

Went to Trail 12 on our last trip to ride the HFMC trails. To start off, the service was fast and friendly. Its basic outdoor picnic type seating, but there was a large fan to keep things cool and a nice view. 4 types of bbq sauce at the table, all of which were good.

I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and mac and cheese, and switcback fries with pulled chicken. The meats were delicious and had great smoked flavor, the mac and cheese was good, and the switchback fries were a great appetizer, definitely shareable, waay too much for just me! Everything came out nice and hot. I was pretty impressed, better than other meals I've had in the area. Recommended!

I was mapping for TrailView mobile app and stopped at Trail 12. Awesome food, great people and a top notch campground. They offer cabins, camp sites, UTV rentals, killer food, awesome views and great conversation! I spent 8 days mapping Hatfield McCoy trails and their upper camp sights offer the best WV view I've seen to date! Also they offer guided trail rides and recovery services. Staff and owner are great people.... 5 stars for sure!

Its geared towards the trail riders but open for anyone....the thing i liked the most was its on top of a mountain with outdoor seating.....very nice scenery and peaceful.....it was my first time there and what I got and my wife got was good food.....cant wait to stop by off the trails

Best food in Mingo County with an amazing atmosphere, outdoor dining overlooking the Appalachian Mountains, and super friendly service that will go out of their way to make sure you have a great meal. Try the Feudin' Potato with the Gold Sauce or their new Wild Wings with the Black Berry BBQ Sauce.
