Harper Talasek Funeral Home took care of all our needs when mom passed away. Jack was the first person I dealt with while mom was receiving Hospice Care at Scott & White. He helped me in ways I will never forget. His willingness to just talk when I needed to touched my heart. Mom had a pre-paid funeral plan in place and after her passing Stacie went over everything with us to the tiniest detail to make sure everything was completed to our satisfaction. She is very compassionate and good at what she does. .All the staff are compassionate and professional. They answered all our questions and took care of our concerns. They continue to follow up with us to see if there is anything they can do to help us through our grieving process. I will be using Harper Talasek when my time on earth comes to an end.

Professional staff who helped above and beyond with mothers arrangements. Relaxed atmosphere for the Visitation and Rosary. Tribute Video exceeded expectations. Harper Talasek was once the best funeral home in Temple. Then it experienced a long period of decline while it was owned by an impersonal national conglomerate. Now, it is the best in Temple again.

Our loving father passed unexpectedly on October 18, 2016. We are a very close family but despite that we were not prepared for my father's funeral planning. From the moment, we called Sabrina to inquire about service options and planning we were immediately assisted with patience, compassion and understanding. She made a very painful experience comfortable and put us all at ease. She and her staff went out of their way to make sure all the details for my father's viewing, funeral and burial were implemented. She held our hand when we most needed it. I highly recommend Harper Talasek (Temple). They treated my father with care, honored all our wishes and arranged my father's services perfectly. I want to give Harper Talasek Funeral Home a great big Thank you for their care and support during the recent loss of our father. Loosing a family member is tough but Stacie and her team made it easy and let us know they were here for us. They helped us plan every detail to make it special and planned the military flag for the graveside burial! This was my 2nd time to use HT and I highly recommend them for your loved ones!!!! My mother passed 11/23/2019. She had made arrangements in advance, however, when it happens there's a lot to do. Jimmy Watson was there from the beginning - picking her up at home, during - took charge of the services to relieve as much off the family as he could, and end - still provides check up calls to see how we are doing. Thank you to the entire staff - your kindness, support, expression of sympathy, thoughts and prayers were well beyond.
