Camp Wonder Wander

Loved it! Val was a great host, provided great recommendations, and let us visit with the animals. Enjoyed the forest therapy. The 4 hr canoe experience was beautiful and went down remote part of the river. Being able to end right at Val’s was a huge plus. Highly recommend for family or friend gatherings.

What a wonderful place to settle in for a day or a week and let your artistic muse guide your way into what ever project you need to work on or finish…or you can just commune with nature and let this little art colony be the backdrop to the story you are in or are writing about. Oh and if you have a telescope, be sure to bring it. The skies at night here are breathtaking.

A quaint place deep in the mountains. The owner is very accommodating and very kind. Time spent with friends, mountains and the nearby river was amazing!

Val has a good heart and a big mission, I just think it would have helped a lot if she addressed her grievances with her residents individually instead of talking about them behind each of their backs. It created a tense culture for everyone at the camp. Taking it personally when residents are uncomfortable makes it hard to just fix the problem directly. I left early because of all the bed bug and flea bites.
