Beautiful golden eagle, 2 bald eagles, blue heron, kill deer, loads of other birds and ducks. We saw armadillos, deer, a raccoon, and evidence of more wildlife. It's a beautiful place to see nature, take pictures, fish, camp, and hunt!

Very well maintained, they do a very good job with roads, fields and game management. It was a pleasure to visit.

Jerry Brewer and Billy Roberts at Laurel Hill Friday (6-26-20).
They rode the complete outer trail (commonly called the new trail) a seven hour trip. It needs a group of about 30 people to ride it with pruners, machetes, axes and a chain saw. There are a lot of downed trees, limbs, etc. If the trail was cleaned up, it would be more like a 5-6 hr trip

Beautiful VFW Lake. It has a driving road all the way around it with 3/4 ths of the lake accessible to fish from the bank. This lake has plenty of large fish such as bluegill, bass, catfish and crappie. There is a 6.00 charge for a 1 day lake permit plus you must have a fishing license. Picnicking, grilling , walking, jogging are allowed. There are picnic tables and charcoal grills available at no charge. There are restrooms also. Hours are 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset and you must be out of Lake area. Lake is 26 acres. You are not allowed to run gas motors on this lake. There is also another lake on this management property called Laurel Hill Lake which is 325 acres. Which has all the same features but you can run gas motors. Upper quarter of Lake is no wake, there is a bait shop, that serves food, sells tackle, licenses, soft drinks ,and can rent you a boat and motor. This lake you can not drive around but does have partial rd access for bank fishing.

I spend a lot of time here, considering that I live across the street, but I can say that it is always clean, always well maintained, and the beauty is one that can't been obtained anywhere else. Well worth the drive if you don't live close.

Heaven on earth in nature ,fresh air. We drove through the forest for 3 hours and got lost. No phone service which was really but only if the gps would work without service. To top it off we were ready to leave and a tree was across the road. They have a body of water that 16 and under only to fish.

I am from indiana and was visiting the area with my wife and 2 girls 8 and 13. Laurel Hill Wildlife management was a good stop for my family. We did a little fishing hiking and even had lunch on a picnic table. All and all a good place to visit for the hole family.
