Maybe because we went during autumn when the leaves had fallen into the pit where the mine was, but we couldn't see anything worthy of looking at more than a minute or two before we were walking back to the car. If you're super into history you may have more fun there, but it wasn't for us.

Every place on the Natchez Trace is unique and well maintained. I was disappointed though that due to tree growth I could not see the mines.
