He's great. He diagnosed a heart condition without having to do a bunch of tests. (We did the tests of course and they proved him right.)
Gentle, matter of fact manner. He's probably saved my life.
He's helped me manage my diabetes well for nearly twenty years.

Dr. Collins and staff are wonderful. When you go in you see the same caring people, not and an assorted staff that changes all the time and has no clue who you are.

Dr Collins is a great dr. He takes the time to really listen to your concerns. I've never met a Dr that will sit with you and listen the way he does. He definitely puts his patients first!

Dr. Collins is by far the best physician I have ever seen on literally every level. He actually explains things to me as well as answering questions. To those who criticized his nurse I say pick your battles. She was always understanding with me probably because I took the time to be nice to her. This practice is absolutely wonderful even under stressful circumstances hence feel comfortable with them.

Dr. Collins is one of the finest medical doctors that I have met in my 66 years on Planet Earth. There has never been a long wait time and I've always been treated like a family member by he and his staff. He always explains in detail his prescribed method of treating my illness or health related issues. He has always been well informed on any health related issues I've had that I needed to see a physician about.

He was recommended by my best friend and I was very happy to have him as my primary care physician. He is top of the line in my opinion!

I have been seeing Dr. Collins for a few years now and he is very knowledgeable, kind and compassionate. Unfortunately, like many other doctors, he is being dictated to by politics. By that I mean he is so bogged down with paperwork that sometimes there isn't quite enough time for him to dedicate to the actual examination of the patient. He's so busy inputting and updating his computer, he doesn't always seem to hear everything you are saying. I have learned to write down and ask specific questions, then re-ask them if necessary until I fully understand the answer. Moving on... although she is efficient, his nurse, Lydia can be abrupt and unkind at times. Her accent is so strong and she speaks so fast that I have a very difficult time understanding what she is saying. I have to ask her to slow down and repeat herself so often sometimes it is so frustrating. Communication is an effort with her and as others have stated, she can be rather rude at times. Not ideal behavior for a business that should be compassionate and kind to sick people.

He is always so helpful, he listens and really wants to understand how I am feeling weather it be mental Heath or otherwise I used to dream doctors appointments but I don’t mind going now that I have a Physician like Dr. Collins he just makes everything so much easier and makes you feel so comfortable I’m glad I made the decision to go to him

Always been a good doctor

I'd been going to Dr. Collins for a very long time and received prompt, professional care. That was when he was in private practice.

Then he got added to Starr Regional Hospital Association recently, and my care was not what I expected.

New staff was not ok except for when "Debbie" was working. Debbie called any external specialists and made a referral appointment for that doctor to see me.

Then I started to have severe heart problems, and my care wasn't very important anymore with Dr. Collins new staff.

I also have other health problems that were not addressed, so I decided to start seeing another general physician this past month.

Now, all of my health problems are being taken care of, and all external appointments that are needed are accomplished in a timely, professional manner.

Dr Collins is a great doctor. His nurse on the other hand is the most rude unprofessional person I have ever met. She needs to be fired!!!!
