Angela's Miami Grill

Finally got to go visit and try their “famous Cuban” and my goodness was it amazing! The pork was so tender and juicy, the bread was lightly crisp on the outside and fluffy inside! The atmosphere is great and looks to be clean which was obviously good! The service was perfect and the prices are reasonable! Highly recommend!

Found this Gem of a restaurant on my way to the Eureka trail after my wife and I biked 8miles. I had looked this restaurant up because we love Spanish food, let me say it is extremely delicious you will not be disappointed

We've been here twice in the new location and both times the food was amazing. Cindy, our waitress was so attentive and took her time explaining the different beers on tap. Awesome service..For the one saying is it a bar, is it a restaurant or music venue, its all three and loved it..The atmosphere is so laid back and the live music adds to it...Definitely a great spot for the whole family.

We had such a great experience finding this gem restaurant in Athens TN!! Their Famous Cuban sandwich was loaded with meat and flavor on the best tasting bread ever! The Miami steak sandwich was incredibly delicious too! You just never know places like this exist unless you give it a try and we were so glad we did.👏👍😁😋😋😎

I have had the privilege of dining at Angela's on at least 3-4 separate locations, and each time I have been given only the best service and the best food.

I'm still relatively new to enjoying Cuban food, but Angela's sets a high bar. With good portion sizes and pricing, Angela's is a great spot for everything from family dinners, date nights, professional outings, and so much more!

Nineteen beers on tap (more coming) always plus 20+ more in bottles and cans. Best burgers in Athens! Great new location!

The food was really good, had the peppercorn steak salad and the Greek chicken. Our host was Tifa, and she did a great job of serving us. Coffee was to die for. Will recommend it to our family and friends.

This was my first time at Angela's. The food was fantastic. There were items on the menu that I can't get just anywhere. I grew up in Florida and know Cuban food pretty well, and this place knows Cuban food. It is authentic and delicious. I recommend it and suggest the Cuban sandwich!

Congratulations on the new location! This was a random road stop find as I was passing through the cute town of Athens Tn. Stopping at this spot was the highlight of my trip! No wonder they have excellent reviews. The Cuban sandwich was amazing! Great quality, atmosphere, and friendly service. Angela’s is a valuable contribution to this town, I wish it wasn’t so far away from home for me. Enjoy

OK, so I am a noob when it comes to Cuban food.
So I can’t speak to the traditional amount of seasonings, spices, heat, etc. that one should expect.
My personal taste would demand a little salt, but that’s why they make salt shakers.
This seemed like a fun place to go hang out with some friends and enjoy some fresh food served hot and prepared by the skilled hands of a devoted proprietor. I understood that Angela consistently prepares much of the menu herself out of love for the cuisine and a desire to share it’s unique flavors with others.

I ordered the Cuban sandwich with fries but I also had to try the beans and rice since it was a crowd favorite.
The pork was some of the most tender that I’ve had and the bread was clearly freshly prepared and amazing. Everything was fresh and hot.
The flavor of the Cuban was mild with subtle smoky hints from the pork.
The french fries were average.
Although I’m not usually a big bean and rice fan, there was something about them that made me want to have another bite, and then another.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were eager to serve and knowledgeable about the menu.
I wish I would’ve had more time to stay and learn a bit more about What brought Ms. Angela into the business and what she loves most about the cuisine

If you’re in the area and you’ve never tried Cuban cuisine, I recommend giving Angela’s Miami Grill a visit.

Had a great experience Wed. Night. Great service from our waitress Sydney and the live music was really fantastic. Loved the Angelos fish tacos and the cuban pork roast was sooo good. An overall wonderful experience. We will be back.

Ropa Vieja was very delicious!! Not really liking the location, outside curb appeal. But food was great. Will be back though!

Great delicious food, friendly and attentive service ( our server was awesome!),quaffable brews and a great value!
The owner was nice enough to come by our table and let us know that they were moving to a new location. This definitely is a must visit when you're in Athens!

Ok, I always forget about this amazing little place! The spinach artichoke dip and Cuban bread is amazing!! The best we have ever had! And don’t get me started on the CUBAN sandwich.🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

First time I tried Angela's today for lunch. I was looking for some Cuban food. I had the Chuleta with black beans, rice and sweet plantains. It was very good. I wish there were more Cuban options on the menu. Like Vaca Frita, and Bistec Empanizado. Or breaded/fried pork loin. Or even Pollo Asado.
