First Baptist Church of Temple

Thank You First Baptist Church for letting me & my grandson & my Chihuahuas stay with the American Red Cross. My home was hit during the tornado. Look my roof & a tree landed knocking out power. By the grace of God we r alive. I might of lost food & clothes but I didn't loose my most important my faith n my family. May God bless everyone in this hard time. My prayers r with others in this time of need.

First Baptist Temple is our church home and I am so thankful my son is experiencing this church from a young age. The worship times and styles are diverse and different enough to accommodate the needs of everyone. The Sunday morning small groups are designed to reach more people and to dive deeper into the Word. On holidays (Halloween, Christmas, Easter) this church always has an event for the community. If it’s raining on Halloween, the Trunk or Treat event is moved indoors so kiddos can still get candy. Summertime camps for kids are also an attraction where children can learn about Jesus and have fun doing it! The outpouring of love and support for all ages is truly remarkable. You will not feel judged at this church. ❤

Great music. Outstanding instrumentalists. Challenging, practical preaching. Meaningful directed prayer time during service. Friendly, accessible staff. Great Bible teachers in on-site Life Group (or Sunday School Class). Friendly people in hallways. Fresh, attractive, new facilities. Just a great experience every Sunday and every Wednesday. We are new to the area and the church just “resonated” with us and during the first 5 minutes of the first service we visited. That was 7 months ago—we have only missed 2 Sundays since…and could not wait to get back. The church feels like “home” to us.

I just want to thank this church soooooooo much! I have young children in school and I was laid off of work and couldn't pay my light bill and therefore it was disconnected. This church went above and beyond and understood the situation and helped me! Thanks to them I am able to cook for my babies and they can do their school work and take warm showers! Y'all are truly a blessing ❤

This is an awesome church! My family and I have been attending for a year now and we love it. Pastor Joe's sermons are funny, meaningful, and straight to the point. The music is wonderful and the people that work there are so loving and kind! It is truly a great place to worship the Lord. Come check it out on Sunday.

I might be a little biased but this is the best church in Bell county. This is the place where we've become part of the community. We know a lot of people here and they know us. I really cannot say enough nice things about First Baptist Temple. They're warm, welcoming, and the services are thought provoking and inspire the best in me. Come try it out. Attend service, meet the pastors in the welcome center, and attend a life group to really get to know your neighbors and to know God.

Great place great staff make you feel welcome. We have found a new home. Three different worship types are found here you can have a classical service. You can have a modern service. The last service is a blended type.

I have had two of my children attend the preschool program, and they love it there. Sold staff and a safe space for my kids.

Such a friendly congregation and staff. Many areas of worship to serve. Great choice of classes and activities. Christ centered services. A place for everyone.

Amazing concert with the Singing Women of Central Texas.

It is home to me & my family.We yearn to go there every week & to see our family of God! Praise Him! They mean so much to us!
