Absolutely delicious cinnamon butter.

Both cinnamon butter and regular butter are possibly whipped.

Bread is okay.

Tri tips are delicious and flavorful.

Sausages are freshly made and are juicy and delicious.

Sauce is flavorful perfection and on point.

Loaded baked potatoes are absolutely awesome as well bursting with flavor and have a pretty good amount of toppings.

Simply good taste and amazing environment though we don't dine in. So lucky to have chosen this restaurant as we are only staying a night in this area. We are tourists on the way to Iowa.

Clem Mikeska’s was the caterer for a local wedding and if their restaurant is anything like the experience we had, you need to visit asap! The staff are great people - friendly, hard working, and they genuinely care about their clients. The food was delicious, too! Hot, fresh, and pleased the entire crowd. As a wedding planner I could not recommend them more for your next event!

We’d been looking for a good BBQ spot for some time. You’d that that would be easy seeing as how we’re in Texas right…Well, finally found it! Food was awesome. Truly smoked and not just baked with smoke flavor added. The broccoli salad was almost as good as my homemade. All the meats were tender and juicy. Will definitely be going back to eat again.

One of the best restaurants in Temple. We take traveling visitors here and always have a great experience. We got the family special with brisket and 3 sides and ordered an extra lb of sausage. The sausage is very flavorful and unlike sausage from other restaurants. The original BBQ is always amazing. The mac and cheese was good, and we love the asparagus as a vegetable option. 10/10

It was exceptional. The brisket had a wonderful smoked flavor and was so moist and tender. The cornbread dressing (seasonal) was OMG out of this world. Sautéed broccoli cooked perfectly. Hot rolls with butter served immediately. Drinks stayed full. The ribeye was cooked med.rare as requested. Mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans. Chicken fried steak had more meat than breading which is rare, it is hand breaded in house and is not a frozen patty. Pecan Pie al a mode. Everything was great. The service by Ash was spot on. She didn't miss a beat and had a great personality, and also served a 20 top as well as 2 other tables at the same time. This is a must stop when coming through Temple in our future travels. My 2nd time here and I can highly recommend this place for the meat lovers!!!
My recommendations to be tried: Clem’s sausages, brisket, chopped steak with Swiss cheese and mushrooms!
We had rolls last time and they were delicious!
Their sides are excellent as well!
Service is great, environment is laid back and very family friendly.

Great atmosphere and good food. My server was great and I enjoyed my time here. I found the food pricy for what you get but everything was good. The Pecan pie was a delight and the sausage was some of the best I’ve ever had. Cool place with interesting history I’ll be sure to return.

Came here for dinner while on a work trip, the food was excellent! Had the smoked tri-tip and homemade jalapeño & cheddar sausage, both were delicious. The sides were also really good, sautéed asparagus and loaded baked potato. The service was on point with recommendations and atmosphere was pretty cool. Would not hesitate to come back if I am back in the area.

This was an unplanned stop that turned out to be wonderful. A nicer atmosphere than many BBQ places, plus it offers a full menu if you're not in the mood for BBQ so everyone can get what they want. But that doesn't mean the BBQ isn't up to Texas standards. The in-house sausage was especially excellent.

First timer. Great service! Amazing food. My NY strip was cooked perfectly (med-rare). Really big restaurant with animals on the walls every where!! It was cool. Highly recommended

Been coming here for 30 years. Sorry to hear of Clems passing. Best sausage at any BBQ joint in the state. Everything else is great too. Sides cannot be beat- buttered potatoes are my favorite. Best to your family and your iconic restaurant.

The food is very good. They allow animals outside which is great, since I was meeting my daughter and her Aussie. It was super busy, but the wait was not excessive. Sat, relaxed and had a good visit. The waitress was super nice also.

An amazing Texas BBQ experience. An unbelievable beef brisket. So soft it disintegrates in your mouth. An Incredible flavor due to being cooked for hours I'm sure. A true Texas treasure. Excellent sausage and incredible pork ribs. Sauce is flavorful and spicy which I like. Great sides. Service very friendly and quick, treats everyone like a part of the Mikeska family. 94 year old Clem makes appearances from time to time.

Service was A+, atmosphere was great (Bathroom was super clean) the dinning area was kept clean and the food was great. The corn 🌽 nuggets and the Ribeye were the winners of the best plate at our table (pictured is the 3 meat plate) the food was a good representation of TX BBQ (The Ice Tea was fresh and perfect) our server was "AJ" and she was the best server we have had in a while overall this was a great experience and a great value. We fed 6 of us for 120$ (that is including appetizers) We will definitely come back.

Excellent BBQ. I had Clem’s sausage with a side salad and loaded baked potato. Also, tea and two rolls. I was hungry but not starving so the kid’s menu sausage plate worked great (added an extra side too). Hazel, our waitress, was competent, friendly, and a delight. Thanks Hazel and great food! Also, the atmosphere was rustic and charming with many antiques.

The food was great, I had the pork chops and a baked potato I highly recommend it. I think it is good not outstanding but, I definitely would go back

Way to do it up Big Texas! BBQ was delicious. Enjoyed eating in the large rustic dining room. Super sweet waitress. Quick food service. Pecan pie with butter pecan ice cream finished evening off perfectly.

First and foremost, The I was blind sided with the creativeness put into the restaurant entire awesomeness building inside and out side too. The Ambiance holds top praise, (IT IS RARE) Our Compliments goes to your Chefs! as it was simply the best chicken fried steak dinner we've had in decades!! "The Service awesome.! "High note"~Employees did not seem to be bothered of the fact that were the last guests to roll in and rolled happily rolled out after closing~.♥~100% repeat visit ASAP ,.

We came to Clems after seeing it online while we were here from Iowa for a show. 10 out of 10 ! The food was absolutely great and the service was fantastic. Our drinks were always filled quickly My Son , Husband and I all had steaks of some sort and WOW they were some of the best restaurant steaks we have ever eaten! When we are in the area again we will definitely be back !! Thanks Clem Mikeska's Bar-B-Q for the amazing experience
