Green Road Community Library

It's a small library but in a very convenient location. It's rarely crowded or busy which I love. Plus, there is plenty of space to work on a personal computer or theirs. Every staff member I've encountered has been really nice and helpful. The photos are my view from my spot by the window. Adorable library.

I love this little library. The staff are very helpful and friendly, they keep a variety of books on the shelves and anything they don't have they get for me in a few days. The library is always clean, and the slight bustle in the library some days says it is getting used by the community. It would be nice to have some handicapped parking near the front door on the circle, though, to make it more accessible to even more people in the community. .

I go to this place often. I've come here since I was in middle school. I've always had nice experiences at this library. Everyone is always so nice. The kids reading and activities are a great way to get out of the house for free!

I attended a recent in-person event focused on parents and children. I can see that Green Road works hard to make the library a friendly and welcoming space for kids. It is so important than young people associate books and reading with discovery and delight. Good work Green Road.

Green road community library is a small and cozy library that has a lot of resources for its size. The front desk is always well staffed and the employees are nice and able to help with any questions. 20+ public computers are available and you can access them with your library card. There’s free wifi too if you want to bring your own computer. Good selection of adult and juvenile fiction/nonfiction books, as well as a selection of Spanish books for adults and children. There are story time programs for children that they do every week and even a teen volunteering program. For adults there are programs that they offer for job application help, technology advice, and more. They also have an annual summer reading program that everyone can participate in.

Recently moved to Green Road library area. It has been a great experience. I have enjoyed a painting program and a candle making program. The staff is always helpful and friendly! Can’t wait to experience more programs and fun at Green Road!

Warm and welcoming community library for all ages!

A delightful, albeit small, branch of the Wake County Public Library system. Plenty of computer stations and a decent children's area. Limited in most other sections, but that truly doesn't matter thanks to the magnificent "hold" program.

Simply install their WCPL app, then use the request system to gain access to thousands of books. Their courier system moves inventory to the location of your choice without charge. You have a week to pick them up. More convenient than you can imagine!

Prefer ebooks or audibles? Install the Libby app, and away you'll go!

My very small complaint is the understandably limited parking. Plus, for us mobility challenged folks, it's a bit of a hike to the front door. But that's okay! Between the perfectly wonderful library staff and the ability to "pre-order" my next set of books, I'll be back regardless!

Went for one of the teen programs, had so much fun!! The staff is all super nice and welcoming and the book selection is awesome.

This library have THE MOST HELPFUL person's who work there! It is ALWAYS clean and the Extended hours ARE 👌...(Open till 9 some days, now)...I've visited other LARGER libraries...but THIS location just feels like home...to ME! The first library, I visited...when I moved from, NJ...They've helped ME...ALL these years later! FIVE STARS!!!!!

We visited the Green Road Library for the first time for a children’s event. We loved the staff there and they offer great programs!

Very nice little neighborhood library. Plenty of parking, but it's a little away from the door. The staff was super nice and I was able to get in and get what I needed and back out in like 5 minutes. There are computers and you can print things for like 20¢ a page. It accepts change, dollars, or a debit card. Very convenient!

This library is small but it has all the basics. Children, teens and adult sitting area.

It was very nice. I was there for early voting so I didn't check out much. The parking lot is laid out as two separate lots. For something big like this just head to the one away from the building.

Awesome library, staff is very friendly. I went here for years and they were ALWAYS helpful and friendly, library is always clean. I always got the books that I placed on hold online with no hassle. They have lots of programs for children of all ages plus they have a playground on site. Thank you Green Road Library!

A nice loving that place that services the kids

Great place, even though this may be the least quiet library I have ever been too...all I heard were the sounds of learning all throughout. So I will give it a 5 due to the good amount of young people learning to build our future. Great place.

Small, nice library in North Raleigh. I just joined and the staff were very helpful getting me set up and explaining how to use the online system to reserve books and ebooks. Location was quiet and clean!
