North Hills Animal Hospital & Resort

I have had my dogs seen at North Hills for almost 7 years. I find these doctors to be respectful, knowledgeable, and able to explain things on my level. I really love that pricing at North Hills is reasonable and not overpriced so I can afford to give my dog THE best treatment every time. Most importantly my dogs have never bulked at the idea of going into the office or being touched by anyone at their office. They respect my dog and his boundaries, although he may still give them a giant kiss if they don’t want it. I highly recommend North Hills and I drive 30-40min round trip to get there.

Dr. Amelio is super pleasant and thorough with both our dog and cat. All the techs are kind and are super enthusiastic with all the pets.

Our reactive pup has had fantastic success at their boarding and daycare.

The staff here are extremely friendly and always know my dogs name on sight. Vets have always taken as much time as needed for my appointment - I never feel rushed. My dog also LOVES their daycare and is allowed to go even though he's not neutered yet - Rare!

Dr.Blaire gave my girl Bella a head to toe work up & my dog has food allergies & even when I changed her food she developed a rash on her belly...she (Dr.B) gave me helpful options to help my sweet girl out & it worked rash gone & Bella ABSOLUTELY loves doggie daycare. She made lots of friends & loves kennel staff...see you guys soon

I really appreciate everyone of the staff and Vets at North Hills Animal Hospital. The vet is so friendly, and the staff are wonderful. The vet you can tell really really cares about the animals he treats. Also, their doggy day care is great.

Moved to the area recently, and needed a new vet. This place has been wonderful and I’m so glad we found them for my sweet buddy!

We love the vet service and our dog loves the day care. He goes crazy when he realizes we’re going to day care, and he comes back nice and tired. The people are very nice and if you send your dog to day care, and he needs to see the vet, they’re always able to squeeze him in. They’re very organized and always give us a heads up on what our dog needs.

The whole staff including the doctor is amazing. Very caring and gentle. If your pet is sick, this is the place to go!! I noticed that they have other services , such as a "pet resort" and heard a pet parent discussing the heat. The front desk was quite helpful with information about special precautions taken due to heat. Impressed!

It was my babys first day at daycare there today, he is a big ole 3month Great Pyrenees that weighs 40 lbs , never been around other people or animals, he seemed to have liked it but he needs more socializing with that daycare so he can not be scared around other people or animals. The staff were really sweet and took really good care of him. Thank you all for making his first day special.

We have been taking our baby here almost a year. Absolutely love the staff & Vet. The annual appointment is very thorough and I felt there was time spent to really get to know our dog--who sat in the Vet's lap and got petted most of the time! I get email reminders about necessary visits which makes it easy to keep things up to date.

We just moved to Raleigh and needed a vet urgently to look at our poor kitty who was having some digestive issues.
I called and was able to get an appointment the same day, and they took her right in for testing and to get her feeling better.
Dr. Blaire and all the vet techs were AH-MAZING.
They answered all of my questions and genuinely treated my cat like their own. They called and updated me as her treatment progressed, and gave my kitty the best care.
Their prices are beyond fair and they really do care for the well being of the animals above anything else.

We will never ever go anywhere else!

Today I called to get my sweet pup a vaccine. Her regular vet was unable to see her today. They took care of my puppy without hesitation. The tech that came to the car was AMAZING and very patient with our dog. I was very pleased with the care and the staff.

I have definitely noticed that the staff is quite friendly. More importantly, however, is the care your treasured pets will receive while in in their care. I take my three (against my better judgment, haha) cats here for their check ups, shots, etc. I trust this place and have yet to have a negative experience. One final thought. I don’t know the details of what happened (I.e.- where he went, WHY he left, why it happened so suddenly, etc.). But there used to be a vet there who no longer works there. He was the best veterinarian I’ve ever worked with.

Me and my English Bulldog followed Dr. Livaudias here from his old clinic. We couldn't be happier with staff and especially doggie daycare. They offer half day rates and packages. Yesterday, I got video of our pup making a new friend with a boxer pup. Too cute! Can't wait to try the outdoor doggie pool this summer. Vet care is also outstanding. We'd follow Dr. L anywhere.

Very professional vets! My dog gave them a hard time at first but they were super professional and nice with my fur baby. The second time was super easy and outgoing.

The staff and facility are very very nice. They actually listened to what I said and did not rush me. They did not try to run a bunch of tests just to get our money (so many animal hospitals tend to do this). I called a few places and they were by far the most reasonable in price. Highly recommend this hospital and will go back if I ever have to.

Great place that truly care about your pet! 10/10 highly recommend!

My pup Beowulf had a great time. The staff took great care of him and enjoyed playing with him themselves.

Reasonably priced as well, despite my short notice and long trip.

I lost my best friend Tobby a few month back. And I just want to take the time to thank the staff for everything ESPECIALLY Kate. for what she did for us it was very nice of her.
Also such a very nice environment!
