After researching places to buy soil and compost for a vegetable garden, I found this place and I'm completely satisfied. I visited on Saturday, August 8th and the lady at the counter was super nice and helpful. We ordered the soil and compost on Saturday and today, Monday, August 10 we received the soil. The delivery was great and they deposited the soil in the exact location we requested, no messes. I wish I knew of this place before. The price was great, better than many other places we looked. We are very satisfied. The only recommendation is to place a sign in an area that it’s easy to direct customers to the store since neither google maps or Waze takes you to the right location.

I ordered 9 cubic yards of triple shredded mulch from Family Home and Garden online. They called to get my credit card information and delivered the mulch the next day. I am very satisfied with the process, price, product and service.

My Wife and I went to get some mulch and the service we received and the respect and professionalism was second to none. We stop minutes before to a different business, around the same area, but it was not the same at all. We turned around and went back to FH&G and it was like night and DAY. FH&G were amazing. Was at the North Raleigh yard and got fantastic customer service. Great top soil at an excellent price. Can't say enough good things about them!!!!
