New China Express

Wow, I had a great time eating at this Chinese restaurant today. The staff was really friendly, and the food was delicious. The lemonade was especially good. The rice and chicken were excellent, and the carrots, onions, and peas were really delicious. Without a doubt, I'll be returning to dine here.

The food here was great. We got chicken fried rice , steak and shrimp. The vegetables were good. I dealt with 2 employees who understood me fine and even corrected things. I got smiles from the cooks. It's the best place I've ordered from in a LONG time. I just sent my mom up there knowing she's the pickiest person I know lol.

Not sure why all the neggie reviews (besides the fact that they are expensive), but this place was actually pretty good. I normally order from China Fu (in Falls River Town Center) but all in all, was very tasty. My order was via Uber Eats and it came hot, delish and overall, very good. Minus the high price point of course.

Im not too sure why this place has so many bad reviews. I ordered takeout to be delivered, delivery was fast, food was all hot and fresh. Also very flavorful, and not expensive at all. My beef and broccoli was super saucy and my boyfriend’s chicken egg foo young was so good! I will be a returning customer

Edit: i ordered a second time the other night and the food made my boyfriend and i both very sick. Our stomachs immediately turned after eating and i didnt even finish the whole meal. It also gave me severe diarrhea and the oil it was cooked in just smelled old. Broccoli was raw, and rice was mushy like they just threw a bunch of old meat & rice and uncooked veggies in a platter. Unfortunately we wont be returning and its such a disappointment

I feel like I've tried every Chinese place in the Tri-County area and I was resigned to just having really gross tasteless Chinese food because it was easy. But then I randomly tried this place and the quality is on another level it's so good and not greasy and they're really good about dietary restrictions.
They actually deliver without using any of those horrible third party apps. I've ordered twice from here and both times I've just been overwhelmed by how good the food was. Definitely a hidden gem. I can't speak for an in-store experience and I did call the store once and their protocol was a little strange but the person on the phone was polite and my food showed up right on time and was perfect again so I don't have any complaints so far! Definitely going to be my go-to place starting now.
I have one request of them and it's to make vegetable buns/dumplings. I absolutely love those white steamed bun dumplings but no vegan option.

Everytime I get door dash it's always hot and fresh. I will keep coming here often for the green curry it's fantastic!

This place to me, so far the best in Raleigh! Food is great and the owners are very friendly. Been ordering from them for years

Hey! Y’all! I came here just to write this review. I am pleased to say that I ordered last night and their food was just DELICIOUS! OMG! The egg rolls, the rice and shrimps, everything fresh and hot! My family and I would order again. My husband wishes you don’t change your quality! We looooved the food. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!

Honestly shocked at some of the negative reviews. Me and my wife spend about 2 weekends a month in Raleigh. Everytime we order from here at least once. Every single time and food has been outstanding, we order totally different things and everythingis always above expectations. We love it, never a problem.

My wife and I have ordered from them many times over the years. Evidently, they must be under new management, because the last time we ordered the food and the portion size (combination plate) were better, the delivery time was much less and the person on the phone taking the order was much friendlier. Even the delivery person was nicer. We will definitely be ordering from them again. Not so sure we would have continued under the old management.

We had food delivered from New China Express for the first time, the portions are big and the food is so good. This is our new favorite place. The delivery was super fast. I forgot to order one of the dishes we wanted. I called back and placed a new order, within not time, the doorbell rang and it was the rest of the order. We are very happy to have discovered a new Chinese restaurant that has excellent food!

Ordered delivery from there tonight. My address does not show up on Google Maps, but the driver was able to find my home ease. We got wings and house special fried rice, along with sesame chicken. The food was delicious and delivered hot! I will be ordering again!

Never had an issue with the food here. They even take the time to swap out the white rice that comes with the dishes for egg drop soup for me and my husband. They are always friendly when ever I go in to order or order over the phone. Been ordering here for years and has never once been a disappointment to me.

Food was quick and delicious. The orange chicken is to die for, and the spring rolls are phenomenal. I've been here twice now and they've always been very nice.

Omg got the house special lo mein and beef w snow pod peas was delicious! With egg roll and shrimp roll. Only thing i asked for was hot sause and i received soy sauce and duck sauce instead. overall food was good. Delivery was fast.

Today was my first time eating here. I ordered delivery. Shrimp lo mein shrimp egg roll and egg drop soup. It was delicious!! Fast delivery and everything was hot and delicious. I highly recommend this place!

I came here, near closing time. I felt bad for coming in so late yet they kept a strong smile and served me good food. What wonderful people! I'd hire you guys instantly if i own a CEO corporation.

I have only ever got delivery, but when I call them and order my food last night they were very nice and very helpful and the food is excellent. If you want Chinese food in my opinion this is the place to go.

This is the ONLY Chinese restaurant my husband and I will eat at. They have wonderful service, great food and affordable prices. I've only had one issue with the food before and they fixed it! If highly recommend and will continue to eat here (I can't wait until they expand their delivery...lol)

OMG! They got that real fried rice. I haven't had Chinese this good since I left Philly. I'm sold! Definitely eating from here again. Would've left a picture but I demolished it. Sorry y'all!
