Biblical teaching. Very welcoming. Enjoyable service. All ages. Mostly live contemporary worship. Ample parking. Congregation less engaged than expected, but I think we are spoiled .

Great music and teachings. I love they have a Thursday night service. I have been going for about a month. Greeters are friendly. No one talks to you but you come sit by me I sit in the last pew. I have been looking for a church like this! Great place!

Great church and great theology, straight from the book. Decently easy to make new friends and get involved, and most importantly grow your faith.

First timer today and I was blown away by the energy and hospitality. Most importantly the message was rooted in the gospel. Truly enjoyed the sermon on King David! I’m so impressed that this church cares more about the message of the gospel than growing in number. God has truly blessed summit because this church remains centered on God’s word. I’m truly impressed with how impactful each message is. Very pleased to have found summit.

Enjoyed Sunday's sermon on Jonah and Pastor Grear's sermon on James. ReLly like how these two Pastors take the Word of God and relate it to everyday life application. Worship was wonderful. People were welcoming. A joyful and loving environment just like I imagine Heaven is like.

Pastor JD is an awesome disciple of Jesus. With his incredible faith and knowledge he is able to break down the passages of the Bible and explain what the original authors meant. While Summit has a very large congregation, their structure for small groups allows each individual to feel like it is just one large family. If you are a follower of the faith or someone just curious, you're always welcome to drop by any of the campuses across the area including their satellite locations as well.

Gospel centered church full of life and a very genuine place focused on relationships with the Father and one another.

If you enjoy crowds of people, a huge building that looks like a shopping mall, plenty of programs for kids, loud contemporary concert style music with popular Christian feel-good music, and a speaker that is charasmatic and relevant, you will enjoy the Summit Church.

I normally attend and serve at Brier Creek campus, which was originally the broadcast campus, but I visited Capital Hills today for the first time. The parking situation is fairly busy, but there are parking marshalls directing you Disney-style. The First Impressions team is more active than at Brier Creek at my opinion, and they will introduce themselves and walk you to the auditorium, and even talk with you afterwards. No guarantee they will do the same thing on every first visit, but this is what happened with my first visit.

One problem I had is one I wasn't expecting. I like to record worship for my own listening. I've done this on occasion at BCC, even when JD was speaking live. I got approached and questioned by security this time. I would recommend being very careful with having bags or backpacks with you when coming to service there when JD is live, as I was confronted for having my bag with me, as well as recording one song and taking a few shots. I don't always make a habit of taking photos at church, but I will on occasion when I visit for the first time. I occasionally record worship songs but only for my own listening and sometimes sharing with friends (very rarely). If you have bags or photography equipment with you when JD is live, just be prepared to be questioned by security. They will be vigilant, probably because of JD being SBC President. They didn't like the fact I was conversing with some production team members at the end of the service, even though I serve in the same capacity at Brier Creek.

Summit Capital Hills with JD and his team are open to a contemporary contemplative understanding of the word of Jesus Christ. JD speaks of his own experiences to make it personal. The idea of bringing people together with small groups is a mainstay from the old church theory. From 1-95 all are welcome and have a place here.
