In His Name Catholic Store

I purchased an American Standard Bible a number of years ago, moderate print size and the wording has been fantastic. I probably need a new Bible for my bedroom now since I don't walk that well. I also meant to say that the wording revisions help tremendously in opening my understanding of the original holy script, GOD bless you in your help to provide me on my spiritual journey. The regular KJV is a bit difficult for me.

Very pleased with service received at this store. Needed holy cards printed for my fathers Celebration of Life Mass with a tight turn around. They had a big event for the weekend & still were able to accommodate my needs. Thanks for the quick turnaround!

Very pleased with the assistance I was given at the store, as well as the store having a variety of goods that I don’t usually see somewhere else!! Customer service was excellent as my mother wanted her receipt, but I forget it inside, but Alex went out of his way to bring it to me in the car. If you are trying to find a Good Catholic store in Carolina, this is it!

Great Staff! Our Parish has been long time customers of this wonderful store. Their customer service and product quality are excellent. We have always been treated with respect and courtesy. We are based in the Outer Banks, and I am always impressed with how quickly we receive our merchandise. Kudos to the entire staff!

I do more on line shopping with this store which is so easy to do and quick to receive your merchandise but when I do get the opportunity to go to the store I find the staff to be very accommodating and attentive. If you say you are just browsing they give you the space to do so. If I have a question or checking on inventory they are right there to help. In His Name is a great Catholic store and highly recommend them for your religious goods. Marguerite, the owner, makes you feel like you're an old friend. It's a nice place to go to!

In His Name is a beautiful store. The first time I ever used them was to make a purchase online, it wasn't until after the initial purchase that I realized they local!

My first experience at the store I walked in about 10 minutes before closing. I was in awe at the size of the store and the variety of religious items they had. Everyone was so polite in greeting me when I entered the store. As I wandered the store although closing time was fast approaching I never felt rushed to leave or that I was annoying the staff while I took my time browsing. They were all wonderful to oblige me when I inquired about different books and helped me to find them. Even as they were cashing out the other registers they patiently kept one open for me. All the workers were so friendly and carried on conversation as I was checking again. Again even though they were trying to leave for the day I never once felt rushed or unwelcomed.

On a later trip I brought my mom to the store, who was visiting from Vermont. They have a small Catholic Store not at all near the variety that this store has. She too was in awe at what a beautiful store it was. All staff was patient and friendly with both of us and quick to answer any questions or help find any products.

This is a store that I wished I lived closer to but, it's probably better I do not or I'd be there all the time. It is a store I will continue to use in the future and am happy to support such a wonderful business! I actually just placed an order with them last it!)

As an adult Catholic, in a family of Catholics, there is a single store I go frequently to find my religious symbols, pendents, crosses, prayer cards, and other items to help me spread the word about my Catholic faith, and that is In His Name Catholic Store. It is a wonderful place for me to go to, the people that work there are very kind and always willing to help me find what I am looking for. I especially like to buy a supply of prayer cards and crosses to give to homeless people I encounter along with some money to help them get back on their feet. I always find what I need and if they are out of a particular item, the kind woman who run the store always places an order for me. I have often spent my entire month's savings on items and do not feel at all poor afterwards, because I believe I am doing what Jesus has asked of all of us, which is to "feed His sheep." This wonderful store helps me do God's work. :)

I placed an on-line order and was so pleased! I ordered a Musical Kneeling Santa and baby snow globe, as well as a matching ornament! They arrived safely and were BEAUTIFULLY wrapped. Living in Pittsburgh, I needed to purchase some items and have them delivered to Duke University Hospital as quickly as possible on a Saturday so that my friends' new born son could have them before he was Christened. Killian had been transferred to Duke from 2 other hospitals with major heart issues. As his condition was not stable at the time, I wanted his parents to have a few things to remember his baptism. Lisa was WONDERFUL!! Her understanding of my situation was so compassionate. She helped me pick out and purchase items over the phone and gave me the name of a courier service to deliver the items that very same day. She was kind enough to even call me when the items had been picked up by the courier to let me know they were en route to Killian. She also told me that they would keep Killian and his parents in their prayers. As if she hadn't done enough already, she called me again that following Monday to make sure that Killian and his parents received the items and to let us know they were still thinking of and praying for our friends. In His Name and Lisa went above and beyond to assist me. Lisa's calm and reassurance were very comforting as I cried my way through the order and delivery service. I cannot thank them enough for the kind words and assistance. Their actions truly reflect the store's name. Thank you!

Hard to leave this store! Very friendly and helpful staff. This store is filled with more than just great books to enrich your family's life of faith; they also have a wide selection of many fine things: art, music, devotional items, seasonal religious decorations; Rosaries, and gifts. We have been shoping there for years. We bought our family Crucifix there too. There is a very pleasant tone in this family-run store.

Excellent experience in this beautiful faith filled store. I was able to find perfect gifts for Baptisms and First Communions on many occasions. They are always so kind and patient. Thank you for serving our community.

So, I’m not Catholic (I’m Pentecostal Apostolic). Perfect place to find both the short round and long square/triangle (idr) chapel veils / church veils for prayer. I usually buy these at Black beauty shops in other states but wasn’t sure where to find in North Carolina. The shop assistants were super kind and helpful.

Just a FYI, people aren’t wearing face masks (for the global health crisis) here but you’re welcome to, as I did.

This is a great store that lives up to its name. It is a family-owned and operated business, and they work hard to get for you whatever you are looking for. They have a huge selection of beautiful things - art work, rosaries, Bibles, statues, gifts (especially for Sacraments), cards, church goods, vestments, and of course books!

Their knowledge of 'all things Catholic' is amazing, and they are absolutely faithful to the Catholic Church. Marguerite goes out of her way to make her customers happy!
