I can’t recommend them highly enough. They truly care about your animals and aren’t just in the business to nickel and dime you. They have appointments for regular check ups but they also will fit you in with very little notice. Their ability to see you on such short notice has saved me so much money. If they weren’t so accommodating I’d have to take my dog to Urgent Care or the Emergency Vet. Now on to my story. I brought my youngest dog Chloe to the office because she had what I thought were seizures . When I called, they told me to come in immediately, and they would see her as soon as I could get her there. Once we arrived the doctor didn’t make us wait very long before he examined her. Basically he offered a few different options for treatment and gave us medicine to stop the seizures. They get an A++++++++ from my family!! I trust them implacably.

Got my rescue kitty neutered here. They had an appt available within a few days, and he had the procedure 2 days later. Friendly staff & reasonable prices, with NO PRESSURE to purchase any of the "extras".

I came in beginning of the week with my great dane Chevy who hadn’t been feeling well. My dogs and I moved to North Carolina in September and it’s been a very tough transition to say the least. Allison was our vet tech and our vet was Dr Simmons. Both treated Chevy and myself with kindness and compassion. They took really great care of Chevy and figured out what the issue was. They both provided great instructions for after care and went over everything I needed to know. Allison even called a couple days after to see how things were going. I don’t know anyone in North Carolina and times have been tough but my dogs mean the world to me and having them properly cared for is very important. I am very fortunate that I found this vet clinic. And lastly I am happy to report Chevy seems to be getting better and better everyday.

I wish I could give more stars. This has been the best vet I’ve ever gone to! They took such good care of our new puppy and answered any questions we had. Now, they’ve gone above and beyond for our cat that has kidney disease. They are quick to respond to messages on their app, quick with requests for documentation, if they aren’t able to answer the phone their call back time is within 5-10 minutes. We couldn’t ask for better people to take care of our animals during stressful times!

The staff at Raleigh Community Animal Hospital are nice and friendly! They care about your pets and are excited to see updates about them. Last I was there with my cats, the nurses were excited to see how well the kittens were doing. It’s a great environment overall.

I absolutely love this place. These people genuinely care for you and your animals. When I had my pet chicken’s they were there and provided the best care possible. They consoled me when I had to put my chicken Elly to sleep after she was attacked, they helped save my chicken Amy,helped our cat Bugsy and will now help with my new adoption Mila. When Elly passed I was an absolute reck and felt like they were the only ones with compassion when she passed. I even received a card from the staff after her passing. It was the absolute sweetest thing ever! I have heard so many horror stories from other places & I will not trust anyone else with my pet other than this location. PLEASE bring your baby here. This is the SAFEST place you can possibly bring them.

Our kitten had broken his leg in a freak accident and had to get it amputated. Raleigh community animal hospital was very kind and supportive for us during this difficult procedure for us to go through. Answered all of our questions. Made the experience of a difficult time for us very well.

My dog Wrigley LOVES his boarding and daycare stays at Raleigh Community! He can’t get enough of the outdoor and indoor playtime. I’m happy that no matter the weather they can make him happy with plenty of playtime. Thanks boarding and daycare staff, you are all wonderful!

i could not dream of a better vet. one of our dogs is very scared of the vet and needs special treatment and patience and each time he comes in, the staff work really hard to not only treat him but make the experience as smooth as possible. ASK ABOUT HAPPY VISITS

If i HAD to give some constructive criticism, they have a great app you can use for appointments, scheduling, and ordering dog supplies including dog prescriptions that can be delivered........ it took us over a year of going there to find this out and i wish that information was made more available or clearer. its entirely possible that im just a ding dong and i was told and forgot or wasn't paying attention to clear marketing signs.

I LOVE this place. I have taken my pets to a few different vet's in the area with my pet Coconut. When we adopted Pork Chop from the shelter, he had heart worms. The shelter worked with a few different vet's to help lessen the cost to cure heart worm for people who adopted pets with heart worm and Raleigh Communitywas the closest one to me. I wasn't happy or unhappy with the vet I had but Raleigh Community Animal Hospital was unlike any vet I have ever seen. We were immediately invited to an adorable Halloween party that they held in the parking lot with a pet costume contest and free BBQ. They have always been accommodating, understanding, helpful and informative. Today I was ten minutes late because of traffic and they were so sweet about it. I was afraid I'd be made to reschedule. They went over all the costs with me up front and we discussed what shots and tests were MOST important in order to help me stay in my budget and schedule when I could afford to do the rest. I was never made to feel bad or guilty that I couldn't afford to do EVERYTHING this visit. I've had other vet's make me feel like I didn't love my pet because I couldn't afford a dental cleaning at that time....my vet today told me that although Coconut is going to need one eventually, that there are some affordable things I can do to delay that expense. I love that they genuinely care about people and pets and I can't thank them enough 😊😊😊

After a terrible experience with another vet, I took my dog here for an examination, and to discuss a treatment plan for her.
I feel the staff took my concerns about Gabby seriously and scheduled her surgery right away. I don't feel that they tried to sell me a bunch of unnecessary services, and the estimate I was given for her treatment was fair.

40 years ago I began as an apprentice plumber . I had to work harder then, than at any other time in my career. The learning curve was intense. As a master plumber some 22 years later, I was able to provide a service that from all those years in apprenticeship and experience could not be given any other way, Plainly , I can say that I would take my plumbing issues to a man such as myself being absolutely confident of the best service possible. We seem to be at the point here at RCAH where the learning curve is intense and that the service provided needs to be based more on raw determination to provide a professional and accurate diagnosis and treatment than one based on experience alone.

Raleigh Community Animal Hospital is great! The doctors and staff are very friendly. I just adopted a dog, Charlotte, from the shelter and she is heartworm positive. They provided me with all the details of her treatment and answered all my questions and concerns. Charlotte is in great hands and she loved her visit! We are looking forward to getting this pup healthy!

Very good care. My cat had to have surgery for some things and a dental procedure and everything went very well. Takes a lot of money and time to figure things out but we got there. Thank you!

I can’t speak highly enough of the staff and doctors at raleigh community. The professionalism and patience they showed while working with my anxious pup was incredible. They showed great care for my dog and made sure I had everything I needed to be a successful dog owner - and if they couldn’t do it, they gladly recommended someone who could.

One of my favorite things they do is what they call ‘happy visits.’ It is their special way of allowing your animal to become comfortable with their office and staff without the usual shots, blood draws and general poking and prodding during an exam. They will love on your animal and give them treats, showing them that this is a fun/safe place to be.

If you are looking for a new vet or your first, give them a try!

The staff was amazing. My cat was very scared, as it was only her second time visiting a vet and it was a new place for her. They placed us in a "cat room" that had a big window with a bird feeder outside so that cats could watch the birds. She seemed very content with that. They were very friendly, explained everything they were doing to her since I was nervous for her and were very informative about my cat's health and well-being. Pricing is fair, from what I've compared online. This place is now my vet of choice.

Omg...They are truly Godsent & answers to my prayers. Dr. Teresa is Amazing!!! She knows what she is doing & is passionate and has not only your furbabys best interest At heart but the pet family!! Just read her story & meet her once! The staff are patient, caring and go over & beyond. They are there because they love & want to help as many animals they can! My prior vet which is a chain vet did not have the same dedication, committment, & compassion as this place. My fur baby just had a surgery there...And I KNEW & TRUSTED him in great hands!!! Do not even second guess this one!!
Kirsten & taylor were so kind and helpful through this process. They kept me updated the entire time.
Shout out to spen or helping me and all that you do for the animals too!
THE BEST VET
Also Thank you to Heal A heart...Mrs.Becker, for getting me to this vet❤

Raleigh Community Animal Hospital has been my go-to veterinarian for several years. The entire staff is amazing, caring, thoughtful, compassionate, and above all, professional people who love pets! They make you feel welcome the moment you step through the door and they treat your furbabies like they are their own. Dr. Miller is truly one of a kind and I’m so glad she joined the RCAH team. She is incredibly knowledgeable and intelligent, never rushes, and communicates everything clearly and with ease. And she makes it a priority to keep your pet as stress-free as possible throughout the appointment. I am so happy with the level of care this team provides and want to thank you all for taking great care of my girls!

My dog Josie has gone to RCAH since she was a puppy for both boarding/daycare when necessary and vet care! I can’t say enough wonderful things about the staff. They treat Josie like their own, and that is evidenced by how much she loves to visit! They also treated me with such compassion several years ago when my former dog unexpectedly passed- I had our first appointment booked but hadn’t made it in yet when it happened. The staff was incredibly kind to me and even sent a card even though we had yet to spend a dollar with them. Josie and I will be lifelong clients from that alone!
