Sake Japanese Bistro and Bar

This was my first time here and i’m new to COMO! Service was amazing from start to finish! I got to sit at the bar and have good conversation with the 2 sushi chefs. The food came out fast, and was extremely fresh! GREAT prices too. Definitely will be back to try even more options!!

❤My favorite restaurant. Udon is simply great. The chefs cook like gods. The only negative is, please remove the dust on the ceiling, all the dirt spills into the plates of food.

Great atmosphere and great location downtown Columbia. Have to say this is the best sushi place I’ve been to in Columbia. The box is awesome! Pretty much get everything. Choice of meat salad rice fruit dumplings. Yes Also the steak is high quality in very good

Expensive, but worth it!

I got to try the Fried Brussel sprout salad and the following sushi rolls:
Lemon Drop, Rainbow, Mizzou, Tiger, and Dragon Roll.

The fried Brussel Sprout salad was a great way to start the meal. With the included lemon slices squeezed on top, this is a must try appetizer.
The Lemon Drop sushi roll was also tasty. Think of it like a California roll but with added salmon and thin slice of lemon on top. Safe roll to have if you don't want something too flashy. Another safe roll is the Rainbow roll. Also let's you try different types of fish as well.

The Tiger roll was packed with flavor and had a kick to it. I was a bit worried it would be too spicy since it's topped with Wasabi aioli and Sriracha, but I was able to eat it comfortably with some water. (I'm not the best with spice). The Mizzou Roll was alright but not my favorite. I don't generally like rolls with spicy tuna. The Dragon roll was very tasty. I especially liked the cooked eel on top of the roll. Between all the rolls I had, I'd have to say it's a tie for me between the Dragon and Tiger roll.

The restaurant itself was very spacious, with beautiful artwork on the walls of sushi. Additionally, there was also some outdoor seating.

I'll be coming back here for sure to try out some of their other rolls :)

The best sushi 🍣 😋 I have ever eaten in my life! Had the Dragon Roll 🐉 😎 and the eel practically melted in my mouth. I may drive from Blue Springs to Columbia just for sushi 🤔. The eel was big chunks that was simply amazing! Service was amazing and atmosphere was great 10 ⭐s if I could.

Great patio to eat and enjoy the people of downtown. The service and food were on point. The bulgogi bowl was a bit one note. The sushi was very fresh, creative, and flavorful. This spot is located perfectly downtown to grab a great plate before exploring the nightlife in the city.

Sake has great Japanese food, from sushi to teriyaki chicken. Their cocktails are great as well with a wide variety of sake and other Japanese liquors.

Best sushi in town. We have been to every sushi shop in town and this is the only one I'd go back to.

Their rolls are delicious and very well made.

I highly recommend them and their prices are Very affordable.

We just went back for another stay. Staff are kind and helpful and everything is just as great as we remember

Wonderful experience as always. Clean, friendly service, great food. I got hot tea, which is my favorite hot tea. It's got a very classic green tea flavor, not overly strong, and they bring you the pot. I had 4 sushi rolls and tried my boyfriend's Ramen. Everything was delicious, fresh, and well prepared. Definitely recommend.

It was very good! We walked in at a good time no wait. Great staff, inviting social, checking on our needs. The food was so good I forgot to take a photo before we started digging in. GO Check it out.

Nice clean contemporary decor and fresh food. The house salad wasn't what I was expecting - a nice change of pace. If you're expecting the same iceberg lettuce and ginger-miso dressing every other place has - you're going to be surprised too. The Lemon Drop Roll was exactly the refreshing nosh we needed after a few hours on the road. Staff were all friendly, prices were what you'd expect. Designated parking would be a nice bonus, but hard to come by I'm sure. We found a street spot without too much trouble. Would absolutely recommend.

Can't believe this is my first time here! Duh...great atmosphere, service, and food. Had one of the speciality rolls, tempura, and shumai. 👌 I'll be back!

Definitely my favorite sushi place in Columbia. The foods awesome and the staff are really friendly. It can be a bit pricey if you go too crazy with the nigiri but that's my favorite type of sushi so it's always worth it

Very good ramen. Probably the best ramen in town.

Excellent service, great atmosphere, Miso soup was 2nd best in town (so far!), rolls were all good and the Beef Tataki was damn fine.

Good sushi with very good presentation, and good selection of Sake. Server was new and not perfect, but she did a good job. Just seemed a little expensive.

I love the whole feel of the atmosphere it was very nice and clean and was in covid compliance. And the food was great!!

Went to Sake for someone's birthday and got several different rolls to share. The food was delicious and reasonably priced for a sushi restaurant. The server was very attentive and helped recommend some delicious rolls. I would definitely go back and try their Bento Boxes.

Delicious food and wonderful wait staff! Very friendly and very generous portions! 10/10 would go again!
