Dr. Yoshinobu Namihira, MD

The doctor seems to have been in the medical field for a long time and knows his stuff. After a series of investigative questions, he took great care to explain to me what was happening in my body and why I was experiencing certain symptoms. There wasn't much they could do besides allow the time to heal, but the thorough explanation was worth the copay for me because I was experiencing a lot of discomfort that I didn't understand.

Crohn’s is in remission due to his caring hand. Been seeing him for over 5 years.

After being misdiagnosed by 2 other physicians, I was very sick when I found my way to Dr. Namihira. Over the next few days, he performed an upper and lower GI and found the root cause of my illness. He put me on the right medication and I’ve been able to control my chronic UC. This was 25 years ago and I’ve remained a patient. Dr. Namihira and staff have always shown kindness, courtesy, compassion, and respect to me and others I’ve referred. Most importantly, Dr. and Mrs. Namihira are Godly people and genuinely care about their patients.

Miserable. Nothing short of assault.
I had only attended this clinic and physician once for a consult, then for an EGD. Having a list of my prescription medicines I was on and signing in that day, I informed them a particular medicine did nothing for me, they assured me they had everything under control. I was on the procedure table next, a warm towel over me ( I thought to keep me warm, what a joke! ) the mouth /spacer wad placed and suddenly a nurse was laying over my arms and chest and the "doctor" was inserting the scope. I was fighting so much that a second nurse was positioned over my legs. The physician said he was only able to get the scope part way down my esophagus before having to pull out due to bleeding from swelling/scar/sore - stricture. He stayed the stricture would correct itself if I did what he said. I immediately canceled my future appointment for a lower GI with him and scheduled an upper GI with a Jackson GI PHYSICIAN. Nothing Namihira found in his "exam" was found throughout my complete EGD in Jackson. My stricture was dilated, there was no bleeding, sores and most importantly I was not treated like an animal and I was comfortable and not held down by clinic personnel.
I would not take my dog to this clinic.

Oh, and that lower GI I canceled before I left that day? THEY CHARGED MY SSI INSURANCE FOR IT, ANYWAY.

knWorst doctor ever! In 1 year he performed 10 colonoscopies on my mother in law. I went to his office to confront he and instead of talking about her case, he talked about other patients. This doctor is a quack.
